The Ensana Thermal Margaret Island Hotel is located in the northern part of Margaret Island. The hotel is surrounded by the greenery of parks and the waters of the Danube; when no festivals are taking place on the island, the place is very quiet and peaceful. Please note that access to the hotel by car is only possible from the Árpád Bridge (Árpád híd).

The Ensana Thermal Margaret Island Hotel offers 277 rooms and 8 apartments. The rooms offer stunning views of the Danube, the park, and the historic center of Budapest. As in all Ensana hotels, the rooms here are very comfortable with a full range of amenities. Small pets are allowed for an additional fee of 25 EUR/day.

Guests are offered a rich buffet breakfast at the Platan restaurant. Lunch (menu) can be enjoyed in the Boroka bar of the Thermal hotel. The buffet dinner is served from 18:00 to 22:00 also at the Platan restaurant. The menu includes national Hungarian and international cuisine, with an open kitchen. The Boroka bistro offers a wide range of light snacks, salads, fresh and healthy dishes, delicious pastries, ice cream, and hot drinks.

The Ensana Thermal Margaret Island Hotel features a modern health and wellness center. Guests have access to a fitness room, 6 pools, a jacuzzi, a Kneipp path, a sauna world, a wide range of wellness and beauty treatments, specialist consultations, and more. For example, the hotel has a dental clinic, a laser eye surgery clinic, and a plastic surgery clinic! Thermal water from the hotel's own source on Margaret Island is used for treatments and to fill the pools.

The hotel offers treatment for: rheumatism (soft tissue and rheumatoid arthritis), arthritis (osteoarthritis of spine and joints), chronic inflammatory degenerative diseases of the muscularskeletal system, back pain, fibromyalgyia, ankylosing spondylitis, rehabilitation after surgery or accident, certain chronic periferical circulatory problems.

Persons suffering from the following conditions are advised to consult a doctor beforehand: infectious diseases, all kinds of malignant toumors, malignant haematologic diseases, serious cases of anaemia, haemophilia, acute thrombosis and thrombophlebitis, bronchial asthma with attacks, hyperthyreosis, circulatory disturbances combined with cardiac insufficiency, angina pectoris, after heart operations, heart attacks and myocardial infarction – opinion of a cardiologist requested, feverish conditions, pregnancy, malignant hypertension, acute inflammation of the respiratory system, endometriosis, patients who require nursing, incontinence (rectal and urinal), acute stage of SLE and autoimmune diseases, certain skin diseases, epilepsy, major psychotic disorders, drug addiction, dementia, serious depression, and open wounds.

The modern health resort complex is located on Margaret Island and is ideal for families or those seeking a combination of modern medicine and natural healing water treatments. It lacks a historical atmosphere, but everything is tastefully designed, functional, and stylish.

The rooms are bright, modern, and comfortable, equipped with air conditioning and balconies. Breakfast is served in spacious dining rooms with beautiful panoramic views – guests rightly praise the variety and quality of the food. The wellness area is the hotel’s main highlight: there are several thermal water pools, a sauna, and a fitness room, while the medical center offers a full range of wellness treatments based on Margaret Island's thermal springs, aimed at treating joints, the spine, stress, and excess weight.

Another pleasant bonus is the underground corridor between the Grand and Thermal hotels, allowing guests to use all facilities without going outside. The staff is friendly and courteous, and the atmosphere is relaxing. Thermal is an excellent investment in your health, perfect for those who value healing water and functionality without unnecessary luxury.
