Treatment juvenile rheumatoid arthritis in Druskininkai
A type of arthritis that children and young people under 16 suffer from. The disease is characterized by inflammation and restriction of joint mobility for a period of 6 weeks or more. Patients with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis complain of pain in the affected joint, swelling, stiffness in movements, local temperature increase, over time the joint is deformed, cartilage and bone tissue are destroyed. Among the extra-articular manifestations of juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, there are: fever, rash, swollen lymph nodes, enlarged liver and spleen, growth retardation, osteoporosis, heart and lung lesions, eye damage. The disease is very dangerous and requires timely and comprehensive treatment, which is aimed at suppressing inflammatory processes, elimination of articular manifestations, restoration of joint functions and achieving stable remission. Conservative treatment includes taking anti-inflammatory drugs, glucocorticoids, immunosuppressants; passage of physiotherapy (electrophoresis, ultrasound therapy, UV-exposure, magnetic therapy, pelotherapy); orthopedic correction; in case of severe deformities, surgical treatment is performed in the form of joint arthroplasty.
