Treatment heel spur in Františkovy Lázně
The heel spur is a complication of plantar fasciitis and is a bone process in the area of the calcaneus tuber, wedge or beak. It is manifested by pain in the heel, first when walking and exertion, then it becomes permanent. In rare cases, the heel spur causes callus formation and slight swelling of the heel area. It is treated with massage, physical therapy, physiotherapy (ultrasound, electrophoresis, shock wave therapy, magnetic and laser therapy, ultraviolet irradiation therapy), wearing orthopedic insoles. With the ineffectiveness of conservative treatment, medical blockades are carried out, in especially severe cases - surgical removal of heel spurs.
