Unfortunately, the salt cave was being renovated and you couldn't go in. The visit to the salt cave was the reason for my booking. What a pity!!! As a COPD patient, I couldn't tolerate the prescribed inhalation, I couldn't breathe. That ruined my day!! I heard at the hotel that several guests had the same problem. So I couldn't do this treatment either.

Hotel Carbona Heviz is cozy, thought out to the smallest detail, a large gym, even 2 floors..., an indoor pool with saunas and an outdoor complex with a jacuzzi and for children with sun loungers.....a pool with thermal water and a jacuzzi....cosmetic procedures, a hairdresser is working, it is possible to update your manicure, etc. The transfer was thought out and always on time....and for every call to the agents from sanatorium.com.....they called back and resolved the issues.Negatives
they prescribe procedures without thinking that after mud or after a massage it is advisable to lie down for an hour, and not run headlong to another procedure... the ordered package of procedures includes a massage, but for some reason there are only 3 places, i.e. choose what hurts more... .the restaurant is all beautiful and the waiters work beautifully with a smile, but when vacationers stand in line with empty plates waiting for fried eggs to be prepared, or for dinner pieces of chicken breast or sea fish that fall apart and the cook gets nervous and tries to keep the shape of the product., although in 2 weeks, once there were pieces of fried salmon beautiful and tasty....

I got an upgrade to a more luxurious, renovated room. Otherwise, the basic room looked very dated, with scratched furniture and dirty carpet. The common areas are not well airconditioned (walkways, elevators, pathways, etc.) and felt very stuffy and hot.

There was a problem with the return transfer. You do not give us any information about the driver or the driver about the passengers. Instead of the appointed 6:00, the driver arrived at 6:45. We woke up people who were not involved in the transfer, since your phone didn’t even give you the opportunity to leave a message. We already called a taxi. Also, the relationship between sanatoriums.com and 1000dorogtravel is unclear. Having turned to 1000dorogtravel for help, they said that they had nothing to do with the transfer. A representative for sanatoriums.com has not been announced.

There was no hot water available in the dining room for lunch and dinner to have a cup of tea. We had to complain to the front desk to get a tea kettle for our room. Hot Tea is a part of holistic medicine and a tea kettles should be in each room.

One moment was very unpleasant. I decided to give a Botox injection to one zone on the forehead. The price tag indicated 50 thousand forints, I also wanted to do between the eyebrows in the price tag the amount of 15 thousand. The doctor said that between the eyebrows this is also a whole zone and I didn’t do it. For the zone on For some reason the price was set at 60 thousand. The assistant translator Ilona spent a very long time sorting things out with the chief administrator. In the end, I paid 50 thousand. No one from the administration came out or apologized, except Ilona. They spoiled my mood and I lost my time waiting for the conflict to be resolved. I hope to get an explanation why there is a discrepancy, I have not been to an appointment with a private doctor, where he sets the price.

I advise you not to take full board - for lunch and dinner the food is 85% the same. There are many restaurants around. On the last day, my son and I got poisoned at dinner at the hotel - we still didn’t understand what exactly, we ate different things... it’s good that it passed within a day, but a very unpleasant end to the vacation... it’s a shame! Poor knowledge of English by the hotel staff - everyone speaks rather German, be prepared for this.

On one rainy day, I didn’t have to leave the hotel - the first half of the day there were treatments and thermal pools, and then relaxation in a huge luxurious pool and sauna complex! And the summer pool with all the massages worked! Gorgeous, delicious cuisine! The treatment is as expected! The service is excellent! On Saturday - Sunday, a large number of hotel guests led to the fact that there are no free sun loungers at the thermal baths, in the pool and even the steam rooms are occupied. There are no free tables in the restaurant during rush hour. And when you complete the construction of a new building without introducing additional places in swimming pools, thermal baths, etc., the comfort to which everyone is accustomed will disappear. I will be very glad if I am wrong.

The wait for the transfer is too long (2 hours after arrival). It is advisable to reduce this time. In the thermal pool at the Carbona Hotel, the clock is too small and the hands are difficult to distinguish. It is advisable to replace them with larger ones and hang another one on the opposite wall.

There were isolated cases of waiters being unfriendly in a restaurant, but only at dinner before closing. In order to leave early, they start setting tables for breakfast 40 minutes before the end of dinner and do not allow vacationers to sit at these tables. There were situations when in an empty restaurant that was open for another 30 minutes there was no place to sit, and the staff reacted extremely reluctantly to requests to set a new table.
