We are from Estonia. My friend and I vacationed in your sanatorium in July. We took a package without treatment, but with food. I really liked the resort. The sanatorium is located by the sea. The staff is very friendly and there were no language barriers. The sanatorium helped us organize an individual excursion to Riga. Thank you very much for that, it was very interesting! The food is very varied, at the same time, the menu is competently compiled, taking into account the wishes of vacationers. Upon arrival at the resort we encountered problems, but the staff provided us with information and assistance. Several calls and problems were resolved (medical procedures). We checked in instantly and immediately went to lunch. The food is beyond praise. I can't even cook that well. Real jam. The room is standard, nostalgic Soviet style, laconic. The room has old but decent furniture. Comfortable mattresses on the beds. I would say orthopedic. We slept well. The doctor prescribed the procedures optimally for everyone. A repairman is coming. But the noise from the renovation did not cause any inconvenience. Entertainment programs in the evenings. Most of the vacationers are pensioners and elderly people. Extraordinary peace and quiet. Who needs what? We had a lot of rest. The forest is clean, the walking paths are comfortable, the sea is just a stone's throw away. The beach has clean white sand. Super. At this price and food, I think it's very great. We rested for a week. The rooms were cleaned 2 times, towels were changed. Friendly and helpful staff. There is a small shop in the sanatorium, so you wouldn’t have to go to Jurmala (center, Rimi and Maxim stores) to buy goodies. There were enough impressions and peace. The beach of the sanatorium does not meet the requirements of vacationers at all; there are not enough sun loungers for everyone. The staff says many are broken. There is no toilet near the beach, the nearest one is on the territory of the sanatorium, which is completely inconvenient. It’s high time to bring the paths in the forest area into proper shape.

We came across a pleasant doctor and nice treatment nurses. Medical services and communication with medical staff are excellent. The sanatorium has a doctor and nurse on duty 24/7, which is also a big plus. If someone gets sick, even in the middle of the night, help is available. We liked the food. Delicious dietary food. Now, during the coronavirus period, there is no buffet. According to our observations, it is better to choose a common table rather than a specific diet. With a dietary table, the choice is between two ready-made options for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the vacationer cannot choose individual dishes himself. In the case of a shared table, the vacationer chooses all positions himself. Room When I arrived at the sanatorium, it seemed to me that a time machine had worked. A Soviet-built sanatorium, there are still carpets in the corridors, and in the bathroom there is a sign above the socket that says “for electric shavers only.” The rooms did not appear to have been renovated since then, but for me this was not a negative, rather it added to the authenticity of the atmosphere. Since I myself no longer remembered Soviet times, I was curious to plunge into this atmosphere. The rooms are clean and comfortable (but in our room some of the sockets were loose). The sanatorium turned out to be (in a good way) a kind of museum of the Soviet era. Authentic atmosphere and, in part, authentic service. Overall, I liked it there, despite some shortcomings of the sanatorium in terms of room service and in the dining room. The medical service in the sanatorium is excellent.Negatives
Service Sometimes notes of Soviet attitude and service slipped through - there are many of you, but I am alone. In the dining room there was confusion with our table several times - the senior waitress (no complaints about the younger girls, on the contrary, they did an excellent job!) did not keep track of who was leaving when, who ordered what, etc. One example of confusion is when six people were assigned to a table with four seats. Two of them were passing through the sanatorium for one night, and, accordingly, had the right to receive lunch and dinner on the day of arrival and breakfast on the day of departure. Thank God that we did not collide at the table and came to eat at different times. I wonder how we would divide 4 chairs between six people? Once our portions were given to those who came to the dining room before us, and then we ourselves had a problem getting food. They forgot about us, and the cooks said that they would no longer prepare the salad (like, they weren’t counting on you anymore, although this was not our first and not our last day at the sanatorium). After the showdown, they finally made us a salad. It was not our mistake, but the mistake of the head waitress, who seated too many people at the table and did not calculate the number of servings. There was also an unclear situation with disposable soap and shampoo. On the first day they were brought to our room, but then they were not delivered. When we began to find out what was the matter, it turned out that in the sanatorium it was customary to bring shampoos only on the first day (then they brought them to us again on one of the last days of our stay at the sanatorium). Due to the fact that we did not know about this feature of the service, we had to do without shampoo for a couple of days. We were not warned about this in advance, and we did not take shampoo with us. Fortunately, a local store opened a couple of days later, where we were able to buy this shampoo. In my opinion, this one-time provision of cleaning products is wrong. There are two options for solving this issue: 1. Do not provide disposable detergents, but warn about this on the website so that people take their own shampoos with them. 2. Bring these products every day or hang a shampoo dispenser on the wall, as is done in almost all hotels. Otherwise, we were satisfied with the sanatorium.

We visited the sanatorium for the first time and in the best summer time - from July 10 to 17, we regretted only one thing, that we only booked a week, we liked everything! The room, to be honest, is terrible! The bed is clean, no complaints. But the furniture is terrible, the organics of the room are completely beyond my concept of logic. It's high time to change everything. There are no mattress covers on the beds, in the morning we woke up without sheets, everything was crawling on the bed. When we checked into the room, everything was covered in dust, so I had to clean everything myself. During the week they never did any cleaning, just took out the trash. On the balcony, the chairs were covered with an incomprehensible layer of something white, barely scraped off. There is no place for things, only a closet in the hallway, where there is bedding and outerwear and shoes. In general, there are a lot of questions about the number. We visited the Kemeri National Park, trails through the Kemeri swamp, near Lake Kanieris, Lake Slokas, Šlokenbäck's estate, Jaunmoku castle, and the cinema town of Cinevilla. The new entry and exit rules were upsetting and, one might say, spoiled our stay. Departure is at 10.00, you need to vacate your room. For physiotherapy at 9.30, to the doctor at 10.00... I tried to resolve the issue, but it didn’t work. I had to be kicked out of the room at 9.15 and leave my suitcase downstairs.
