Firstly, I am writing not to pour out some kind of negativity... but so that my review becomes useful for someone... since I, as a traveler, always re-read all the reviews and understand all the risks of staying in some place... so... We have been using your site for 7 years now - there were no problems before... we visited this sanatorium 4 times... Then we changed sanatoriums and decided to return to Kralovska Villa, since the medical facilities here in Karlovy Vary are decent... we understood that after Covid many services were removed from the price list... but... I'll start with arrival.... on your website there is no pre-booking of a place for a car in the sanatorium and before, in principle, there was no problem with parking... we were on vacation from October 22 to November 4, having driven more than 1500 km and arriving at the sanatorium, we pull into the parking lot and a security guard meets us and says - you didn’t reserve a parking space and park your car wherever you want…. Next, we decided to come to the reception and talk about how we booked a hotel and there was no way to book parking on the website - to which they answered us at the reception - if you don’t like something, you can go wherever you want and cancel the reservation 😞... Nobody doesn’t say that we came for two weeks to rehabilitate ourselves at least a little from the war, from sirens and missiles in Ukraine, and in general such an attitude towards clients... we’re just shocked... but ok.... The war forced us to do a very serious reassessment of values and we decided to accept any situation... and enjoy everything... we decided to stay after all... we settled... the room we booked was all ok... As for the treatment... - earlier, upon arrival, there was a meeting with the doctor and it was possible choose procedures from the price list that were included in the treatment... now upon arrival we were simply handed a schedule of our procedures with names, without agreeing on whether something was suitable for you or not... in order to get some procedures for an additional fee, no matter baths or something else, you need to get to to the doctor for 50 euros... As for food - whoever was here before... understands that now food is simply divided by three... we understand that there is a crisis... this is all clear... but... vinaigrette for dinner... we didn’t finish it.... The next day for lunch - the same salad... For the management, this is of course savings... but guys, we don’t go on vacation for 100 euros... you can somehow save money - but from a different perspective... they give you sausages... no mustard... no ketchup... we save - well, not so much anymore... I won’t list everything... At least the staff in the restaurant are great - they smooth out all these moments... As for the room cleaning - there is none at all 👎... in two weeks, not once have the tiles on the floor in the room been washed... I wanted to take a mop and wash everything... about the carpeting - I I’m generally silent... in general, guys, the crisis in the hotel is complete... the hotel won’t last long... we understand that the hotel has taken the direction - just on vacationers who come to drink beer on the weekend and take a walk, but no more... and if you came for treatment for a longer period deadline - you must be prepared for all the disadvantages that are encountered now after the new policy of the country sanatorium... Therefore, weigh everything for... relaxing in this place... but we definitely won’t come back here again... until the policy is changed... Another moment from our stay - one day in the evening - the siren went off in the hotel 🚨 and they said it in Czech!!! everyone go out of the sanatorium onto the street... having collected all their things... it’s 22.00 in the evening - when all the people were already resting... we, who lived through two years of hostilities, got ready, went out and didn’t understand what happened... we come to the reception - the staff answers - there’s nothing wrong with them the fire alarm went off and they simply turned it off... without warning the elderly people who were relaxing in the hotel... and who all went outside not understanding what was going on... no one even apologized to the people... I just have a request to your site - go through all the sanatoriums and make a new release for everyone - since after Covid, a lot has changed in all sanatoriums... and therefore those who use your site should understand that in many sanatoriums it’s no longer the same as before... Thank you for the rest - at least you got some sleep 🙏🙏🙏 maybe ours for someone the review will be useful!!! The location of the hotel is great, you can be in the city center within a few minutes. The rooms were clean and the facilities were also OK. Sauna and pool were included in the price and were also OK. The treatments we did were all good, we would book them again at any time.

There was supposed to be a minibar, but there was only an empty fridge and no instructions on how to refill it. If someone doesn't come with their own car, then you have problems just getting a bottle of water. When you asked in the sauna, you were told you would get a cup and you could get water from the tap in the toilet. Something like that shouldn't happen in a 4* hotel. There was a cosmetic mirror in the room, unfortunately it is at such a height that no normal person can use it. The taste of the food was okay. There was far too much sauce for our taste, everything was just swimming in it. There was more sauce than food on the plate. The choice of food was, well, someone who doesn't eat meat would have problems with that. For dinner there were no fresh vegetables at all, no salad on the menu, no salad bar. The drinks on the menu had either already run out or were no longer offered at all. On no evening did we (4 people arrived) all get what we ordered. There were also deficiencies at breakfast that shouldn't be in a 4* hotel. To get a coffee we sometimes had to queue for up to 15 minutes at a time. Some things were already gone by half past eight and were no longer refilled. And now the parking situation. When booking there is no indication that the parking spaces are only available on a first-come, first-served basis. Of course there weren't any and we had to use a parking garage in the city that was twice as expensive, about a 10-minute walk away and with one non-functioning ticket machines.
