Thanks to all the staff for the excellent service. But those who want to receive full spa treatment need to choose another hotel. There is no doctor here and the procedures are reduced to a minimum: massage, baths, paraffin. There is no cook, food is ordered in another restaurant, but this does not affect the serving and quality of the food, everything is very tasty, the portions are quite large, we had a full pension. A schedule of procedures was drawn up for us taking into account the fact that we were on an excursion one day, and on the day of departure they also took it into account and scheduled the last procedure early. My Spanish husband said that he definitely wants to come back to get “injections” from Lyudmila, massages from Dana and Alena, and take baths! All the girls are cool in the treatment department! The only thing is that our package of procedures included 2 doctor visits. But in fact there was only one. But these are minor things.Negatives

The hotel is in a quiet yet central location (3-5 minutes to the city). The rooms are very nice and tastefully decorated. These are cleaned every day if you want, towels changed, etc. The entire staff is very friendly, nice and helpful. The staff is always at your side with help and advice. The applications are very good. The doctor speaks German, among other things. The food is delicious. The kitchen team tries very hard to implement the guests' wishes. We really liked the one-time free entry to the thermal baths. The water in the thermal pool is 38 degrees and the larger swimming pool is 32 degrees (towels included). We were able to relax very well and will definitely come back. The bus transfer from the front door to the hotel and back from the sanatorium worked perfectly.Negatives

The location of the sanatorium is stunningly beautiful, a coniferous forest, a nearby lake, its own protected area, proximity to springs and the possibility of a secluded and unforgettable vacation. This sanatorium has become my home. This is not the first time I have stayed here and I always look forward to coming to Mignon. The staff of the sanatorium works impeccably, despite the fact that the entire staff of nurses at the sanatorium has changed. But this did not in any way affect the quality of the treatment provided. . Baths using supplied mineral water, massages, a wide variety of procedures - everything is carried out at the highest level. The chief nurse, Mrs. Stanislava, works in constant contact with the patients of the sanatorium and Dr. Vladimir Wurm. This allows us to prescribe and carry out the necessary treatment with the highest quality. The nurses do an excellent job: Mrs. Dana, who provides all types of massage very efficiently and professionally, Mrs. Alena, Mrs. Stanislava, who supervises the work of the nurses, thanks to which the team of nurses works as a single team. Doctor Vladimir Wurm, a very highly qualified doctor, advises patients of the sanatorium. At the time of my arrival, Dr. Wurm was on vacation, but despite this, he found the opportunity to give me all the necessary advice and consultation on the treatment over the phone. For which I am very grateful to the doctor and this allowed me, together with my older sister Mrs. Stanislava, to create the most optimal program for my treatment. A huge amount of work on coordinating the work of the sanatorium has been carried out for many years by the administrative director of the sanatorium, Pani Miroslava, who coordinates the work of the sanatorium almost around the clock, very professionally, kindly and very competently. Any problems that arise are resolved flawlessly and very quickly. Mrs. Miroslava carries out her work in collaboration with the staff of the sanatorium and the commercial director of the sanatorium - Mrs. Monika. Their joint long-term cooperation produces positive results and high quality work of the entire team. The sanatorium has a small number of rooms, but they are beautiful, very comfortable, clean, large and bright rooms, wonderful beds and linens, impeccably cleaned rooms. Linen and towels are constantly changed. For that - a huge thank you must be given to the hotel maids. Regarding the food at the hotel - it should be noted that it has improved somewhat; the wishes of the vacationers were probably taken into account: dietary elements appeared - in the morning: porridge and steamed vegetables. Fresh fruit of good quality was regularly available - plums, apples, tangerines and bananas. And also a small amount of fresh vegetables - cucumbers and tomatoes. The truth is that it leaves much to be desired - the preparation of salads, fish dishes - with a lot of bones, and sauces for meat dishes - are very salty or vice versa: very sweet or sour, which spoils the prepared dishes. I think that several types of sauces can be placed separately so that everyone who wants can use them. Otherwise, you just have to throw away the entire portion of food, because due to the prepared sauces, the food simply becomes inedible. Many prepared soups are also very salty. Although in general, the preparation of meat, poultry, and side dishes is of very good quality. It seems to me that if we take into account those small problems with the preparation of sauces, salads and soups, the overall level of food preparation in the sanatorium can be significantly improved. The overall work of the entire sanatorium team is very professional, well organized and very friendly towards vacationers. I will definitely return to my favorite resort again.Negatives
I have rested and undergone treatment in Karlovy Vary several times, but on this visit I was very disappointed with the work of the Sanatorium com transfer service. Which in no way applies to the work of the Mignon Hotel, where I rested and underwent treatment. I booked a transfer to the sanatorium in advance and upon departure from the sanatorium. There were no problems with this. I arrived at Prague airport on the first of October - Sunday. Already at 7:50 local Prague time I was at the exit at the Vaclav Havel airport building. The driver was there, waiting for passengers with a list of names, he said hello and warned me that I had to wait a little, because there were passengers who had not arrived yet. I thought it was an hour at most. It turned out that the driver was given instructions to meet passengers on four more flights, the last of which arrived at the airport at 12:00 local time. All this time, I and several other elderly people were waiting to leave the airport for our hotels. It turned out that the driver was waiting not only for vacationers from Karlovy Vary, but also for vacationers from the Marianske Lazne sanatorium. Ultimately, we left the airport at 12:30 minutes, and on the way to the sanatorium, the driver received an order on the radio to return for the vacationers who had arrived, and we had to go to the airport again!!! In addition to the driver, there were 9 other people in the car. I sat in front in the same seat with a man and the driver next to me. There were people sitting behind us, close together. One teenager driving behind me was constantly vomiting, when I asked the driver to open the window and ventilate, he refused, saying that the air conditioner was working. Ultimately, I arrived at the sanatorium at 14:40, having arrived in Prague at 7:50 in the morning. I ask the transfer service workers to understand and take into account that people fly for treatment not only on direct flights, many fly for a long time, plus these are people with various diseases. And waiting for such a long time to leave the airport, I think, is simply unacceptable! If there is a problem with the timing and operation of the transfer, warn people in advance at the time of booking how many hours they will be at the airport. Because it is possible to leave the airport by EXPRESS bus to Karlovy Vary for six euros per passenger. People must have reliable information and the right to choose.

I’m writing a review about the food, I read that you can order diet food. Maybe my husband’s choice was wrong, but after 2 times he didn’t have lunch (it was half board) and he had severe heartburn. I had to dine in restaurants in the city. There were no problems if I ate in the city. But I emphasize that I liked everything that was served at the hotel. If you are not very mobile and are not used to moving around a lot, going for water 3 times a day can also be problematic. It's a 10-minute walk to the springs. Back up the hill. But for us it was an advantage (we love to walk)

The hotel itself is very cozy, clean, the rooms are large, 2 balconies, equipped with almost everything you need (refrigerator, TV, kettle and drinking utensils, spoons, tea and sugar, wardrobes and cupboards, large bed, the bathroom has small items for personal hygiene, hairdryer). I was satisfied with the procedures, 3-4 per day, carried out from early morning until lunch. Since the doctor’s visit was on the 3rd, the first procedures were carried out in agreement with the head nurse; You can drink from source N.6 without waiting for a doctor’s prescription. Excursions are offered from the sanatoriums. Currency - cash crowns, €, $ (many people only want cash for payment), cards, in excursion places it is good to have both options. We were lucky with the weather; it was mostly cold and rainy. Overall, I was very pleased with my vacation.
