Wonderful historical building of the Pavlov Hotel in the very center of Karlovy Vary; Thanks to the chefs for the delicious and healthy food! The diet is well organized! The atmosphere of breakfast, lunch and dinner, thanks to the friendly staff, was always pleasant. The room (406) pleased us with amazing views from the windows. One of the procedures prescribed by the doctor , did not fit (due to the individual characteristics of the body). The procedure for the cervical-collar area is “endo”. The medical staff did not agree to make a replacement aimed at the same area. It was sad.

Thermal water is not supplied. Poor ventilation in the hotel. On the 4th floor you can constantly smell garlic, burnt pancakes, etc. from the kitchen located on the 0th floor. The food is not very varied. The choice for breakfast is not very large, almost the same every day. The same salads for lunch and dinner every day. Towels and bathrobes require replacement. There are no disposable shampoos or shower gels. Soap and shampoo in a dispenser. 3 days before departure, the washbasin tap in our room broke. It was never fixed! They did not offer to move to another room, although the room opposite was free. You had to wash your hands or wash your face in the shower!

My stay in this sanatorium lasted 2 weeks from January 14th. The price-quality ratio is appropriate. Everything went at a very good level with no negativity. The staff is qualified, the team is wonderful. I would especially like to mention Olga at the reception desk and the girls in the restaurant. The location is great.

Convenient location of the resort. Not far from the springs. The category of the Pavlov hotel is overrated, maximum 3*. In terms of the quality of treatment and the number of possible procedures, this is not a sanatorium. This is my 9th time vacationing in Karlovy Vary, I have something to compare with. The massage therapist Peter and the nurse Yana are always friendly and try to get vacationers ready for treatments so that there is no queue. Peter performs massages with high quality. Nurse Yana tries, but for some reason she doesn’t use the timer. Therefore, the procedure can last 30 minutes or 10 minutes. For the first time, gas injections caused huge bruises. The food is not very varied, the breakfast selection is poor. Of course you won't go hungry, but the choice is small. For lunch, salads are thickly seasoned with mayonnaise. One kind of soup. For dinner there is a hot dish to choose from the menu. But they may not bring what you ordered.Negatives
Disappointment from false information in the video about the Pavlov sanatorium. The director, the doctor of the sanatorium and the employee of the Sanatoriums say that thermal water has been supplied to Pavlov. But she is not let down! A mineral bath in Pavlov is just plain water and a few tablespoons of salt! You can take this mineral bath at home. Doctor's appointment just for show. At the appointment, the doctor didn’t even measure my blood pressure! The doctor is not licensed and has no right to write prescriptions. Procedures are performed 4-5 times in a row, without rest.

Everything is within easy reach, sources are nearby. Convenient for walking. The Tepla River next to the hotel is a special mood. The people working at the reception are simply irreplaceable! The location of the Pavlov sanatorium is excellent. Everything is within easy reach, springs are nearby. Necessary shops are nearby, convenient for walks, promenades and sightseeing tours. The Tepla River is next to the hotel, which creates a romantic mood. It is located in the very center, near the central square, attractions for children. There is a geyser colonnade nearby, which is important for complex treatment. The food at the hotel is excellent, varied, the menu is perfectly selected for dietary nutrition. There is no variety of food, there are savings on everything, I came to breakfast a little late - empty plates. Nothing works in the room: the minibar is broken, the hairdryer is torn off, the shower is broken. Cleaning every three days. There is no parking, the hotel description says that parking is 15€ - in fact there are no parking spaces! There is no own swimming pool - in the description of the hotel it was stated when booking that they give cards to the pool at a neighboring hotel - we have never heard anything like that at the hotel!! We haven't heard anything, there's nothing! We do not recommend this hotel!

On the Sanatorium website, on the first page it was stated that they provide one free visit to the pool. Upon arrival we were refused, we called the operators, but they froze. They pretended to hear it for the first time and promised to call back, but alas.

I really liked it. Somehow everything feels very homely. Responsive and pleasant staff. We had a late check-in, so they took care of us and left dinner at the reception, which was heated up and brought to our room. The location is great. The meal schedule is a little unusual, but we liked it, and we also appreciated that at lunch the cold appetizers, soup and dessert, without a second course, are deliciously prepared, it’s difficult to restrain yourself, but here it turns out that you’re full, but not overeat. We came here to get healthy, so this is important. I also liked the fact that our procedures were scheduled for 7:00 am. Before breakfast we had time to walk through everything, drink some water, and then we had the whole day free. It is convenient when not every procedure is scheduled in time, but at a designated time and you come to the treatment center and, without fear of being late somewhere, gradually undergo the prescribed treatment. Thank you very much for a wonderful and useful time!
