Calm, cozy hotel in the center of Karlovy Vary. Ideal for all categories of vacationers. Clean, spacious rooms with kettle and refrigerator, The bathroom was clean, the heating was turned off, it was very warm in the room without heating. The food is excellent, our favorite Czech cuisine, always freshly prepared. The menu is huge, for all tastes. The staff throughout the hotel are polite and helpful. The treatment was chosen well by the doctor, taking into account all the indications for the diseases, and The medical staff did all the procedures professionally.

The procedures would be good if they were carried out correctly. For example, an underwater massage was performed instead of 20 minutes for 12 -15 minutes. The massages were also just relaxation. And in general, the procedures were carried out somehow chaotically, sometimes they even forgot about the fact that they had people lying there in the booths. We have already been to Karlovy Vary many times in different hotels, but such procedures have never been carried out anywhere else.

The rooms have very light curtains, there is no substitute and you wake up at 5 am. There are few tables in the restaurant, so there were 5 people at our table from different rooms. The medical staff is quite rude, they don’t explain what they will do (not all of them, of course, but there were several such situations during our vacation). In general, the sanatorium is OK, but I would go there only without treatment.

We really liked the Sirius Hotel and would happily recommend it to everyone. The location is ideal in the city center, 50 m from the source. The team works harmoniously. The girls at the Reception are professionals and quickly checked us in and help us with all our requests and questions. The medical part is excellent, attentive doctor, nurses and massage therapists with extensive experience and always in a great mood. We especially liked the Czech cuisine, there are 5 dishes to choose from on the menu, always tasty, freshly prepared dishes. The waitresses served quickly, and the view of the city from the restaurant terrace is another advantage of the Sirius Hotel. The cleaning is good, they always ask what needs to be done in the room.Negatives

Excellent staff - everyone is very hospitable, created a pleasant atmosphere: the girls at the reception, the girls in the catering hall, the nurses and doctor, the cleaning lady - all very nice and kind people! Regarding treatment: we took the full course (19 procedures) for 9 days, everything was great! Morning massages, endo-wako, mud applications, paraffin hand wraps, baths (whirlpool, mud) - everything was very relaxing and set a great mood for the whole day :) The hotel itself is located in a good location and on a beautiful street - close to any attractions. The room is excellent - full cleaning was done if necessary, beds with good mattresses, there is a table and chair, a refrigerator, the bathroom is bright, the water pressure (including hot water) is very good. The food is excellent! For breakfast - a buffet (not the same thing every day, but something was constantly changing), for lunch and dinner (we had full board) - what we choose in advance from the list (one of two soups and one of five hot dishes - there were often dishes of Czech cuisine) + salad bar with regularly changing positions. Special thanks - for me, a vegetarian, there was also a considerable and varied choice of food! An hour before meals, we tried to go to the springs to drink 200 ml of water (at first the water does not seem very pleasant, but later, especially when you go to drink on an empty stomach, it becomes habitual and you even get a buzz). I definitely recommend this place: I’ve stayed in many hotels in different cities and countries over the years, but I’ve probably never experienced such a friendly atmosphere. I was very sad to leave, it was a really great time!Negatives
Of the small “cons” (it’s hard to even call them cons, in fact), I can note the following points. When we checked in (December 22), there were almost no people in the sanatorium, so we were given a lot of attention during the procedures (and there was the opportunity to take additional paid procedures), then, closer to Christmas and New Year, the hotel was packed, so in addition. procedures (full massage, for example) we were completely refused, but here it is more our hindsight, because... if we had agreed on these procedures in advance, everything would have been OK, but we began to negotiate back-to-back (the day before the desired procedure; the schedule, of course, was all filled out). As for food, once all the options for meat dishes appeared on the menu, as a vegetarian, I had nothing to choose (but thanks to the wonderful girl who served the dishes - she quickly saved the situation - and we added fish to the menu); also, a couple of times it was impossible for me to choose anything from two soups - both were meat (I simply refused the dish, placing more emphasis on salads). Again, it’s not critical at all, on the contrary, I really liked the attitude at such moments - not just “well, we can’t offer anything,” but “oh, let’s figure out what we can give you” :)) From the last little “minus” I can note that despite the maximum temperature of the radiators in the room, it was very cool for a couple of nights (it was generally cold outside these days), but we found a way out here: curtains and tulle were placed on the windowsill (so that they covered the window), exposing the radiators (so that they were on our side and not behind the curtains) - and it was much warmer, but this is not the hotel’s fault and not a minus of our stay, but just a small nuance for a few cold days of winter :))

Outdated hotel, windows not properly closing and there was a gap in which cold air got in the room. The room needs to have queen size bed instead of two twin beds. wifi not working well, more buffet style foods with variety, extend times for the dinner and lunch hours so people have ability to come during convenient times instead of rushing their procedures, ability to understand English was very minimal by staff
