It should be taken into account for a moment that a large collection of not entirely healthy people with various infections in the hotel poses an increased risk of infection. The only way to combat respiratory infections is to breathe again. We arrived with hope of getting better, but returned with a viral respiratory infection, small abscess after pneumopuncture. We do not recommend that new guests book a treatment course. It is worth buying the necessary procedures (massage, electrotherapy, lymphatic drainage, hydroxer and mud therapy) locally rather than wasting time on unnecessary procedures (oxygen therapy, CO2 bags, CO2 tub, pub therapy and pneumopuncture).

But that only happened once. I really liked the treatment, the doctor prescribes procedures by agreement and takes into account wishes. Everything is very transparent, even before our appointment with the doctor, we were given a price list, where we could see which procedures included in the treatment package we could choose from. It was possible to select additional procedures that were not included, since some are only possible with a preliminary conversation with the doctor, it is very convenient that you can discuss everything right away. There was no pressure to purchase paid additional procedures (as was written in some comments). After the doctor’s appointment, a schedule of procedures is drawn up, very convenient, there were no very early procedures and after lunch we were already free. Everything was very coordinated, there were no queues, and if possible we were accepted earlier. The main requirement was not to be late, which is absolutely understandable. All the staff speak Russian which was very nice. I really liked the reflex massage (included in the price) and the Thai massage (for a reasonable surcharge). All honey the staff is very polite. The hotel itself is very clean and well maintained, modern in construction. The room was warm enough, even for me, who always gets cold, there was an additional electric heated towel rail in the bathroom. We definitely want to return for a longer period of time, the hotel provides everything for complete treatment and relaxation. Thank you!

There was one place where you could stand for 30 minutes, and when there was also unloading of drinks and also other guests arriving, there was absolutely no place to stand. There were two of us in the hotel and we both really liked the hotel. Sparkling clean, modern facilities, very comfortable room, high beds. In the wellness area there is a really large swimming pool, a whirlpool with the right temperature, a hot sauna and a steam bath (we have mostly experienced lukewarm whirlpools and saunas in other hotels). Since I stay in different hotels in Karlovy Vary several times a year, I have already gained some experience. St. Joseph Royal Regent is a real place to relax on the weekend. On the subject of food: Breakfast was A1 from selection to freshness. Dinner could be better. Choice was enough, but grilled vegetables and baked or fried potatoes (not clear because dried out), clearly prepared a few hours before. But since we were there in winter, it could be that it was due to "out of season" as there were few guests there. Otherwise, meat/poultry and fish tasted good. Salads/Fresh vegetables always fresh. My clear recommendation! We'll definitely go again. Thanks to very nice staff :-)
