How to choose a spa hotel in Kolobrzeg

Kolobrzeg is located in western Poland, on the shores of the Baltic Sea, so one of the important criteria for choosing a hotel will be its distance from the beach. Comfort of rooms, quality of food, the level of medical facilities and the range of amenities offered by the hotel will also be evaluated.

The hotels closest to the beach are Baltyk, Arka Medical Spa and Perla Baltyku – the beach is only 100 meters from them. From Ikar Centrum and San Medical Spa – 250 meters. From hotels Diva Spa and Ikar Plaza – 300 meters. From Olymp 3 to the sea is 500 meters, and from the farthest, the hotel New Skanpol, to the beach is 800 meters away. Having lived in each of the hotels of the resort and comparing the quality of service, convenience of rooms and the scope of recreational activities, we were convinced that on these parameters all resort houses practically do not differ from each other. Rooms everywhere are fully or partially renovated, most rooms have balconies, bathrooms are mostly equipped with showers. The staff in all hotels are friendly, speaking German and Polish, in the spa hotel Baltyk all signs are duplicated in Russian.
Each hotel has a wellness center - somewhere big, somewhere smaller. There are swimming pools of different shapes and sizes, including children's pools, jacuzzis and saunas. The biggest swimming pool (size 25x12 meters) is in the spa hotel Baltyk, and there is a unique pool with dissolved salt from the local deposit - this salt is used in many hotels of the resort during balneotherapy. To summarize, in terms of comfort all hotels in Kolobrzeg are worthy of praise, but we consider the most comfortable Ikar Plaza, Baltyk, Diva Spa, Akces Medical Fit & Spa, New Skanpol and Olymp 3.

Meals in hotels
Turning to the issue of food, we note that our team liked the food in all hotels - somewhere there was more variety, but the quality of cooking everywhere at a high level. Kolobrzeg is a seaside resort, but there was little seafood in the hotels, except that some restaurants served a herring. For comparison, when we were at the seaside resorts of Lithuania and Latvia, the range of fish dishes in the hotels was much wider. Each hotel will provide you with dietary meals upon request, including a diet designed by the famous Polish nutritionist Eva Dombrowska.
Among all spa houses in Kolobrzeg, according to our observations, the spa hotel San Medical Spa: has the best diet organization: most meals there are steamed, the guests are advised by a dietitian, and there is also a diet on the structural diet of Dr. Marek Bardanin.

Kolobrzeg is a balneological and mud-curing climatic resort, which makes the treatment of cardiovascular, nervous, musculoskeletal and respiratory systems diseases, as well as related skin diseases, chronic diseases of the female genital system and ENT-pathologies the main specialization here. We also consider Baltyk, Akces Medical Fit & Spa, Arka Medical Spa and Perla Baltyku as hotels with good treatment bases.
