Treatment enthesopathies in Luhačovice
Enthesopathies are called pathological changes in the connective tissue of ligaments, tendons, and articular capsules at their attachment to bones. They develop as a result of repeated repetitions of the same movements, most often observed in professional athletes and workers in certain professions (tennis player's elbow, golfer's elbow, runner's knee, etc.). Patients with enthesopathy complain of pain in the affected joint, the appearance of swelling, stiffness of movements in the joint. Treatment requires rest limb, may require its temporary immobilization. Drug therapy includes nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, corticosteroids, immunosuppressants. The effect of drug therapy is enhanced and consolidated using the methods of physiotherapy treatment.
