Treatment post-infection and reactive arthropathy in Mariánské Lázně
Arthropathies are called joint lesions that have arisen as a result of primary diseases and pathological conditions. Arthropathy can develop during an allergic reaction, a number of infectious diseases, endocrine disorders, metabolic disorders and nervous regulation. A separate group are reactive arthritis, affecting the joints at the same time or after suffering a non-articular infection. The cause is usually an infection in the nasopharynx, intestine or urogenital nature. Reactive arthritis manifests itself in most cases 2-4 weeks after clinical manifestations of infection. It begins with urethritis, then conjunctivitis develops and arthritis with arthralgia, edema, local hyperthermia, reddening of skin on the joints becomes the last symptom. Patients complain of general malaise, subfibril temperature, swelling and pain in the joints of the legs (less often - hands). The basis of treatment is the elimination of the primary focus of infection. Medical therapy is carried out, stem cells are used to restore cartilage, creams, ointments and gels are applied locally. Physical procedures are performed: phonophoresis of hydrocortisone, SMT, cryotherapy, physical therapy, balneotherapy, peloidotherapy.
