Urolithiasis is a kidney pathology associated with metabolic disorders in the body. The disease is manifested by the formation in the kidneys of microliths ("sand"), which are reborn into stones. There are dense calcium-oxalate, soft calcium-phosphate and solid urate stones. Stones can be localized not only in the kidneys, but also in the ureters and bladder, causing pain and other symptoms during migration. The main symptoms of urolithiasis: constant or intermittent, acute or dull pain in the lumbar region, renal colic, difficulty urinating, discoloration of urine, nausea, vomiting, hypertension, fever. In the early stages, conservative treatment methods are successfully applied, shock wave therapy is performed, in the case of large insoluble stones, surgery is prescribed.
