"Maxim" refers to the cultural attractions of the city of Marianske Lazne. At the turn of 1923-1924 years here the world famous Russian writer Maxim Gorky was treated and at the same time worked. In 2004, a large renovation took place at the spa hotel, as a result of which the fourth floor was completed and its own balneological center with a swimming pool was created.
