Most of the road to the springs leads on a flat terrain, but I pay attention that part of the way has descents and ascents. The buildings of the spa hotel are connected to each other by a warm covered passage, but it is not quite convenient for people with problems of the musculoskeletal system, as the transition should be carried out on the steps. In this case, I recommend staying in the building "Vltava", the advantage of which is the presence of mineral water from the spring "Balbina", as well as a buvette with this water. Due to the high content of salts and humic acids, the water from this spring is perfect for mineral baths in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. It can also be drunk as table water, but it is advisable to discuss this with your doctor. In terms of the quality of its treatment facilities, "Vltava" is one of the top ten spa hotels in Marianske Lazne.
All rooms are normally equipped, there are rooms for people with disabilities and the whole building of the spa hotel has, in principle, barrier-free access. The swimming pool of the spa hotel was completely renovated in 2017. The quality of food in the spa hotel restaurant is at a good level, guests are provided with a decent selection of dishes and dietary food, if necessary, you can get advice from a nutritionist. A significant advantage of the spa hotel compared to other spa houses is that in the treatment department, guests are offered 24 treatments per week. The wide range of treatments also includes classic spa treatments. It should be noted that the mud procedures are based on natural peat mud, while the "gas injections" procedure is based on natural carbon dioxide from the "Maria" spring, which belongs to the "Marienbad" group of spa hotels, which includes "Vltava". It should be noted that out of all spa hotels of this group only in "Vltava" conduct the procedure "Sharko shower". Medical staff is attentive and polite to guests, which is confirmed by their numerous reviews. The disadvantage of the medical department is its location on several floors, there is only one elevator and sometimes it has to wait a long time. The disadvantage of the spa hotel is the presence of small parking and the fact that not all rooms have a balcony, not all categories of rooms are provided slippers.
