Sedentary naphthalan bath in Naftalan
A sedentary naphthalan bath is prescribed for the treatment of diseases of the joints of the lower extremities, lumbosacral, inflammation of the sciatic nerve, as well as for diseases of the peripheral vessels. Recommended for patients with heart vascular insufficiency. The principle of obtaining a sedentary naphthalan bath is the same as when obtaining a common bath. Naphtha penetrates the blood through the pores and then, together with sweaty secretions, comes back, removing all harmful substances from the body. The temperature of naphthalan oil in the bath is 37-38 °C. After the procedure, the patient rinses off the oil in the shower and rests for 1 to 2 hours, since the process of oil release with harmful substances occurs after the bath.
