A complex of symptoms and pathologies united by localization in the tissues around the shoulder joint. In HSP, its periarticular tissues are affected due to various pathological changes of either the shoulder joint itself, or the cervical segment of the spine, nerves of the brachial plexus or adjacent organs. The main symptoms of humeroscapular periarthrosis are pain and limited movement in the shoulder joint. Pain progresses slowly, is aching and boring in nature, can irradiate in the neck, scapula, forearm and hands. With the course of the disease, the pain becomes constant, especially when it gets worse at night, it causes insomnia and asthenia. If at the first stages large amplitude movements cause difficulties, then over time it becomes to perform ordinary household tasks. Treatment with glucocorticosteroids with local anesthetics, then switching to nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Additionally, vitamin complexes, vascular preparations, physiotherapy, massage, exercise therapy are prescribed.
