"Splendid Ensana Health Spa Hotel, wing Grand” is located on the Kupelny Island of Piestany, in the northern part of its park area. It is a residential building with two restaurants and two pools - indoor and outdoor.
Guests of the spa hotel undergo treatment in the balneological complex "Balnea", connected to the "Splendid Grand" by covered passage. The treatment center was completely renovated in 2014. The treatment process is based on the use of hydrogen sulfide thermal water supplied to the balneocenter, natural sulfur therapeutic mud, as well as physiotherapy methods.
The first two floors of the hotel are occupied by the Axis rehabilitation center, which specializes in treating children with cerebral palsy. The children are treated and fed in separate rooms.
The balneological center also has a drinking spring of thermal mineral water, which the resort doctors recommend to use as an additional therapy for osteoporosis and a lack of mineral substances in the body.
Attention! Children receive fewer procedures than adults - no more than 18 per week.

sanatoriums.comSpa hotel "Splendid Grand", in my opinion, has a strong and effective treatment base, so I recommend visiting it to people who need to undergo quality treatment of diseases of the musculoskeletal system. All procedures are carried out in the hospital "Balnea", with which the spa hotel is connected by a warm covered passage. Qualified medical staff works here. Local natural factors are used in the treatment - thermal water, which includes a large amount of hydrogen sulfide, and therapeutic mud, which, in addition to hydrogen sulfide, also contains so-called anaerobic bacteria. For patients with musculoskeletal problems, it also provides quality rehabilitation.
Rooms in the "Splendid Grand" are well equipped, after a partial renovation in mid-2019, all rooms have been carpeted, new beds, mattresses and widescreen TVs. The disadvantage is that there is no climate control system, as it is quite hot in Piestany in summer, but guests can request a fan for free at reception. Guests of the spa hotel can eat in one of its five restaurants. Meals are the same everywhere, of average quality, nothing special in it. I consider it a minus that seats here are assigned to the guest for the entire period of stay, so I advise you to ask the waiter to show the free seats and choose the most suitable for you when you first visit the restaurant. The advantage of the spa hotel is also the availability of indoor and outdoor pools, partially filled with thermal water.
