Spa-Hotel "Maj" 3 * is located in a quiet area of Piestany resort, 400 meters from the Slnava Lake. The hotel offers accommodation in 50 rooms and 2 apartments with a total capacity of 106 people (plus 14 extra beds).
All medical procedures are carried out by “Maj” guests in the medical department located directly in the hotel building. Since 2014, a unique mineral-sulfur mud wrap procedure has been carried out in the medical department. The hotel also has a mirror pool filled with mineral water 38 °C, which contains sodium, potassium, bromine, magnesium and other useful minerals and trace elements. The swimming pool is prescribed as a procedure for general relaxation, normalization of blood pressure and heart rate, for diseases of the spine and joints, as well as for the elimination of toxins.
