The room is warm enough, they are cleaned, towels are changed every day, bed linen is changed once a week, terry robes are changed along with the towels. Breakfasts with a sufficient assortment, dinners were deliciously prepared, beautifully presented, portions were for men (choice of dinners a la carte), we did not pay for lunches, since we were always going on excursions somewhere. The city of Poděbrady is very pleasant at any time of the year, there is a place to walk, breathe fresh air, there is an exhibition hall, concerts are held in the castle, there is a museum.Negatives
The downside is that you need to sign up for treatment at the neighboring Libensky sanatorium (it’s very close, but you still have to leave the Bellevue Tlapak building), and the reception staff there don’t speak Russian. Three years ago it was much more convenient when all the procedures and the doctor were in Bellevue Tlapac, you didn’t have to go anywhere and all the staff spoke Russian.

Overall I liked the treatment and procedures. You shouldn't expect anything special - this is what they do in many sanatoriums. Baths from min. water, gas injections - interesting and funny. The main thing is to follow the water temperature recommended by the doctor - not higher and not lower! The town itself is very nice, clean and tidy. I liked it! The staff is efficient and attentive, always willing to help - if you ask them. The rooms are after renovation, everything is there, it works. The beds are for everyone. 1.FOOD!!! Breakfasts are the same as in all of Europe. People come for treatment - they are fed scrambled eggs, 3 types of sausages, stewed beans, cabbage and other non-diet food. Temptation is a terrible thing!!! There were porridges - semolina and oatmeal every other day. Salads, cold cuts, yoghurts, pastries, juices, tea and coffee. In general - plus 3 kilos in 14 days! Trouble! Lunch - portions for an elephant - and no diet!!! We were surprised by the soups made from homeless bags and cubes! I haven't eaten for a hundred years! Taste of youth! But this is a restaurant? Eh, Oyropa! 2. Room cleaning is a disaster! She looked in, grabbed a trash can, flushed the toilet, waved a mop in the bathroom - EVERYTHING! There is no further move! The floor in the room is carpeted - they rarely vacuum (I'm afraid never!), don't wash off the dust, don't make the bed, change the linen a week later - after a reminder. Towels are changed. Treatment takes place in the spa hotel Libensky, which is located nearby. I want to note the attentive attitude of doctors and nurses, who always went to meet my wishes. Good quality treatment. I think that the vacation went well. There is a desire to go next year.

All liked it. The location of the hotel is excellent. Treatment in a nearby hotel is not annoying, it is very close. Everything is well organized. I was very pleased with the huge number of places for walking. As for food, don’t forget - this is Europe, not Turkey. Breakfast is modest, but portions for lunch and dinner (choice from the menu) are very large.

My husband and I rested in the sanatorium from 01/24/2019 to 02/07/2019. We were in Poděbrady for the first time and were absolutely delighted with this trip. I'll start with arriving at the hotel. We arrived ahead of check-in time, but were immediately given a chic, spacious room with a huge balcony with two windows. Also, on the day of check-in only dinner was included, but we were also fed a delicious lunch. We took three meals a day, and for us it was a lot. Lunch was unnecessary. The cuisine at the hotel is excellent, the portions are huge, not a single dish was repeated in two weeks. Breakfast is varied, a large selection of chilled juices and hot drinks of all types of coffee, in the coffee machine, at every meal. The attitude of the staff is excellent, the room was cleaned daily, towels were changed every day. The location of the hotel is excellent, close to the central park, the train station is a two-minute walk, everything is within walking distance. Prague is nearby, trains run every hour. Buses also go there. Poděbrady is an amazing city. It has a wonderful river Labe (Elbe), walking along it is a pleasure. My husband and I also rode bicycles along the river and to neighboring towns. There are a lot of positive impressions. I would also like to say something about treatment. Although all procedures were carried out in the neighboring Libenski Hotel, this did not cause us any inconvenience, despite the winter season. Everything is very comfortable. We had a wonderful doctor who spoke Russian. He prescribed all the procedures we wanted. The injections they give in Poděbrady are simply “bomb,” as my husband says. We didn’t get anything like this either in Karlovy Vary or in Marianske Lazne. It’s only because of them that we can come back and come back again. Carbon dioxide baths with Poděbradka, magical. Special thanks to Vera for the baths, very attentive, friendly and sincere. Marcela does the best massage. Many thanks to all the staff of the Beliv Tlapak sanatorium and all the medical workers of Libenski for a wonderful holiday and treatment. We plan to return here more than once.Negatives
The downside is that, unlike the resorts of Karlovy Vary and Marianske Lazne, Russian is not spoken here. But this does not interfere much with communication; we always found a common language. And another big minus is that the hotel does not have a sauna or swimming pool. We compensated for this with trips to the neighboring town of Kolin, which is 18 km away. from Poděbrady, to the big ,, Water light,,. My wife and I vacationed in Poděbrady at the Sanatorium Bellevue Tlapák **** hotel from May 22 to June 5, 2018. Unlike the world-famous Czech resorts - Karlovy Vary and Marianske Lazne, this resort is completely undeservedly very little promoted. At the same time, based on our own experience and the stories of our friends, we can confidently say that this place has a number of advantages, which, in our opinion, should be emphasized in advertising, especially aimed at Russian-speaking Israelis. Firstly, luxurious nature - forests, rivers, parks - because we miss all this so much in Israel. We simply enjoyed the chestnut and linden alley of the central park. Secondly, the flat terrain allows heart patients and people with leg problems to take long (as far as possible) walks along the Elbe along wonderful paths. Thirdly, your mineral water, in any case, had a very beneficial effect on our intestines. And fourthly, it is close to Prague, which is very important for passengers who cannot tolerate the flight and the road (and there are many of them), but who also love to travel. We cannot fail to note the excellent treatment (better than in Marianske Lazne and almost as good as the famous Piestany). Very attentive and friendly staff, both in the hotel and in the hospital.Negatives
Now some wishes and advice. 1. When placing visitors, age should be taken into account. We actually had an emergency - on the morning of 5.06, when we had to go down to the taxi to leave for the airport, there was a power outage, and at 80+ I had to lower my suitcases manually from the fourth floor to the ground floor. This despite the fact that the second floor was empty. 2. The doors from the medical building open only for exit, but why not keep them open for the period from 8-00 to 19-00. 3. Just before we left, we accidentally found out that for a very reasonable fee (50 CZK) you can use the pool in the afternoon. 4. Food. Lunches and dinners were deliciously prepared. I am 64 years old. I am very grateful to the Libensky sanatorium for the excellent organization of my treatment! The well-organized work of the site helped me choose this particular sanatorium. I came from Holland with a lot of problems. In July, my husband died of lung cancer, in November - a complex fracture of the arm (surgery, metal structure with 12 screws), by the end of the year the pressure was 255/120. The nervous system is undermined. A wonderful customer service representative, very sweet and attentive Simona Slutakova helped me with all organizational issues and paperwork for my health insurance. Thank you! I was lucky, I was seen by both doctors. But I am especially grateful to Anna Ginzova, who paid attention to me even in her free time and adjusted my medications to lower my blood pressure. Don't pay attention to the negative reviews about the resort! It is important why you go there and the result is important! I received maximum treatments for my problems. Thanks to all the medical staff for their kindness and attention! J. Horakova helped me develop my broken arm. Thank you! Special thanks to the chef Dusan Krejci - very tasty and well-presented dishes, which is very important with full board. The room turned out to have windows facing south, there was nothing to breathe, there was no air conditioning. Since my husband has a heart condition, we went to the reception with a request to change the room, but we were told that it was impossible. We began to think about where to buy a fan, and by chance we found out from the guests that fans were available at the hotel. We asked and they gave it to us.
