Treatment scoliosis in Portoroz

Congenital or acquired persistent curvature of the spine in the frontal plane relative to its own axis. The disease most often manifests itself in childhood, from 6 to 15 years. Scoliosis can develop on the background of incorrect posture, myositis, sciatica, intervertebral hernia, as a consequence of injury to the pelvis or lower limbs, due to the anatomical shortening of one of the legs. Some diseases of the kidneys and gastrointestinal tract can also cause scoliosis. The main symptoms of scoliosis are: visible curvature of the spine, chest deformity, rotational displacement of the vertebrae, flatfoot, irregular gait, muscle roller in the lumbar region, asymmetry of skin folds, secondary pelvic curvature. In case of scoliosis the physiotherapy, exercise therapy, manual therapy, reflex therapy, anti-inflammatory drugs, individually selected orthopedic corsets are prescribed.
