The most important and most time-consuming step is physical rehabilitation. In stationary conditions or within the framework of a spa-resort facility, the following methods of rehabilitation therapy are used: massage, physical therapy combined with mechano-therapy, physio therapy (use of heat, magnetic fields, currents of different frequency, light, vacuum, etc.), reflex therapy (including acupuncture, acupressure, "jars", hirudotherapy), diet therapy, occupational therapy. In some cases, the patient requires not only physical recovery, but also psychological help, then psychotherapy sessions are additionally prescribed.
