This cannot be called negative, but precisely because this is not the first time, I would like the hotel to develop, but it is getting old. Yes, in small things, but it’s very noticeable and it’s depressing, and then point by point: 1).stained carpet, shower with an elastic band, door in the shower stall that won’t close, torn hooks on the curtains (I think the service manager is doing a bad job ) 2).kitchen - the chef needs to work on the variety of the menu, and given the contingent (in my two weeks - people were mostly over 50) I would like to eat meat that is not dry, tough. And shabby, uncomfortable chairs in the restaurant don’t make the hotel look good either. 3).I want to assure you that people of any age need entertainment, but the hotel does not do this at all, but in vain.

It is unacceptable that people in rehabilitation, many after surgery, should go specifically to a bar to order tea in the evening. The lack of hot drinks for dessert in the restaurant (cakes, pastries, mousses, jellies) is a very strange decision by the administration. Evening service requires a waiter who can offer alcohol, water, juices, but in our homeland it was customary to drink dessert with tea... And tea is just not allowed... For tea you have to go to the bar yourself. It's inconvenient and unfriendly.

Very kind and helpful staff both in hotel and in medical centre. Incredible outdoor thermal pool connected to indoor one. Variety of sauna. Thermal water available 24/7 for drinking. Beautiful surroundings with forest, stream and walking trails. Medical centre so well equipped! Variety of equipment and treatments. Felt really well cared for. Very peaceful area. Free transfer from train station. Closeness to next town Lasko and river walk was a plus. Will definitely return for a longer stay!Negatives
Would be good to have Vegetarian label in buffet as was not always sure- but staff were always ready to clarify. Did not see instructions on recycling or similar green measures.

Liked everything. You can also add that the sanatorium has a wonderful sauna, although for an additional fee. The medical center has good massage therapists. There are many roads and paths around the sanatorium for short and long walks. But it should be taken into account that walking along these beautiful mountain routes is physically quite difficult. It is better to use walking poles. Separately, I would like to thank the employees of the sanatoriums website for their sensitivity, precise work and help in a difficult situation, when our transit flight was canceled and we had to repeat the order for a transfer from Ljubljana. We wish everyone a wonderful holiday.

I liked everything very much. The thermal water is wonderful. We walked a lot around the surrounding area with Scandinavian walking sticks, breathed in the wonderful air, and admired nature. I went for a massage. I really liked it. The staff is friendly. My friend and I booked small single rooms. But since it was low season and the hotel was not full, we were accommodated in double rooms with a beautiful view! Totally positive! In terms of placement I gave it “Excellent”, not “Great” because of the pillows. Very uncomfortable. I took the sweater out of my suitcase, folded it up and slept on it.😂 The food was excellent. Delicious. I took breakfast and lunch, since I don’t eat after six in the evening. I would like to see not only cold but also hot drinks served during lunch. A pot of tea wouldn't hurt. Of course, you can go down to the bar and drink tea there. But it’s like “a bathhouse, there’s a locker room across the road.”😄 When I was on vacation with a group of Russian pensioners at another Slovenian resort, they provided us with a cooler with hot water and teas.😊 Overall, I really enjoyed the vacation. My husband and I vacationed at the sanatorium from December 15, 2019 to December 30, 2019. Everything was great. Many thanks to all the hotel staff for their responsive attitude towards vacationers. The food is beyond praise - lots of fruits and vegetables, herbs, homemade baked goods. The medical department has good, new physical equipment. Wonderful pools and sauna. The holiday turned out great. We plan to return to this hotel next year. And we will recommend him to friends and acquaintances.

In terms of the quality of food, medical procedures, relaxation in various swimming pools and saunas, this sanatorium is significantly superior to Karlovy Vary. We really enjoyed our 2 weeks here. Animators Tina and Peter do not let us get bored - interesting and useful gymnastics, self-massage courses, excursions helped us learn better about our place of stay and get information about maintaining our health in the future.Negatives
Too isolated place. We arrived in another country, I would like to bring something typically Slovenian as a memory. Failed. In the village nearby there is only a small grocery store; in the nearest town of Celje (20 minutes by train or bus) we couldn’t find a store with decent souvenirs that you can bring as a gift to your loved ones. Although the city itself is interesting, we went twice, visited all the castles, museums and the old city itself. In the sanatorium they sell magnets with a picture of the hotel, but there Slovenia is written in such small letters that you won’t even notice them right away. Didn't buy it. When we made the order, we thought whether to order half board or full board. We ordered a full one and did it right. If in Karlovy Vary we went to different cafes in the town in the evenings, here it is impossible - there are a couple of pubs in the village, but they are open until 7 pm. In the sanatorium buildings themselves there is a bar and a second restaurant, but this is not at all the same. And more information: If you fly through Zagreb (like us), keep in mind that there is a border between the countries and it runs on the road. There are only two lanes and there are long queues, because... passport control is passport control. This is nonsense if you are going there, but if you need to not miss the plane when you go back, you have to leave much in advance. In the hotel restaurant, any drink, including water, at lunch and dinner is charged separately to your account according to your room number. When you leave, you will pay for it. Everything would be fine, but in Karlovy Vary the boarding house includes tea, compote, juice or kefir for lunch and dinner. But here it’s like on a cruise - there’s nowhere to go. And all liquids are cold and very cold. If you want tea, then go to the bar and drink it separately, and during lunch, swallow what you have. We were there in July, and there were still several cold rainy days in a row (around 6 pm during the day, up to 11 pm at night), and we wanted something like hot tea for lunch. Next time we'll take a boiler.

Only one massage therapist, Matei, does a competent massage and the electrotherapy worker is a professional. The doctor is either late, or he is not there. They don’t want to do underwater massage, and if they do, it’s bad. Advertising the material on sanatoriums.com and reality are very different.
