Treatment leiomyoma (myoma) of the uterus in Sarvar

Benign neoplasm in myometrium, formed from smooth muscle tissue and fat cells. Symptoms of fibroids vary depending on the location of the tumor, may be accompanied by heavy menstruation, pain and heaviness in the lower abdomen, uterine bleeding and abdominal disruption, lethargy, increased fatigue, swelling, varicose veins, hormonal disruptions. The treatment of fibroids is based on the size and location of the tumor, as well as the age of the woman. In mild cases, a course of oral contraceptives and anti-inflammatory therapy (when the size of myoma nodes is less than 2 cm) are prescribed. If the neoplasm reaches the size of 2.5-4 cm, then gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonists are shown followed by a course of hormonal treatment. Particularly large nodes are studied individually, but the operation is assigned only in exceptional cases, especially the removal of the uterus.
