Merkur is the main treatment facility at the resort. It is located in the heart of Vrnjacka Banja. It is literally a five minute walk to the beginning of the Promenade, the central pedestrian street of the resort.
Guests of sanatoriums.com are accommodated in the main building Merkur Novi. It has 221 rooms, its own canteen, a therapeutic facility with kinesiotherapy and electric treatments, an aquatic center with a 1.8 m deep mineral water pool, jacuzzi, Turkish bath and Finnish sauna, a gym and massage rooms. The wellness center is in a separate building, 400 meters from the hotel. There is also a lobby bar, a kiosk, a souvenir shop and a restaurant. Meals at the restaurant are both à la carte and buffet. The rooms of the complex are equipped with a kettle, a TV and a minibar. Most of the rooms have a terrace.
The spa center of the hotel offers more than 100 types of relaxing, rejuvenating and revitalizing treatments: approx. 15 types of massage, wraps and rituals for face and body, aesthetic procedures, mesotherapy, peeling, manicures, pedicures and much more. Prices in the spa center favorably differ from the cost of similar procedures in European resorts. For example, an hour massage of the whole body will cost 43 EUR, face and neckline massage - 15 EUR, 30-minute body peeling - 21 EUR, 5 minutes in the solarium - 1.7 EUR, 90 minutes of complex hyaluronic care - 51 EUR, paraffin "mittens" - 6 EUR, hardware lymph drainage - from 4 EUR, smoothing of expression lines with botulinum toxin - from 145 EUR for 1 area. You can ask for a full price list at the hotel reception.
The procedures offered to "Merkur" guests are carried out in "Merkur Novi" and "Rimski Izvor" buildings. The first one offers physiotherapy and electrotherapy procedures, the second one offers numerous balneological procedures and massages. In total, the complex employs over 200 qualified medical staff.
The first day of stay is a general examination, when the doctor creates an individual treatment program for each client, and the second day begins with treatment. The decision on the type and number of examinations, balneological and physiotherapeutic procedures, and laboratory tests is made by the doctor in accordance with the guest's health condition.
The guest must start using the services between 12 and 1 p.m. in order to get a general doctor's appointment on the first day.
