A classic health resort with the charm of the old imperial baths. Magnificent old villas and spa facilities - mostly wonderfully renovated, but unfortunately some of them are also in disrepair. During our stay in February, many facilities were still closed - depending on the season. Very beautiful, well-kept parks. Many opportunities for long walks (Lake "America") or for excursions into the surrounding area (SOOS, Cheb...)

We felt very comfortable at the Hotel Savoy&Goethe in Franzensbad. The staff and all employees in both the catering and spa areas impressed us with their friendliness and expertise. The outside area of the health resort was not very busy, probably because of the cold season: shops and restaurants were largely closed. The parks and streets are very clean and well maintained. We can recommend the hotel and the health resort; especially for people who are looking for relaxation in a quiet and beautiful environment. The medical care was excellent.
