Very good staff at the spa. Only a few people at reception were helpful, others didn't know the answers to the questions of what's for dinner and so on. Modern spa facilities. Very spacious room with a fridge. AMAZING location - very close to the city centre and to the Kolonada.Negatives
The hotel doesn't offer trips out and have no information about them but there are plenty of places that offer tours on the main street. If you dont get in early for your meal times, you might miss out of the food options. Initially, the buffet was not topped up. this was sorted towards the end of the stay. We were at the sanatorium from August 6 to August 16, 2017. We liked everything very much. Friendly people, calm, almost homely atmosphere. Quiet and calm. No fuss like in big hotels. We have something to compare with. If you are going on an excursion, you can order breakfast early. If you are late for dinner, you can also make an agreement. Every visitor is welcome here. This does not apply to the hotel itself - it’s a fairly steep climb if you have problems with movement, but if you don’t have any, then you get used to it in three days.

The location of the sanatorium is simply wonderful - right outside the windows there is just a magical forest with an open-air geological museum. The paths are laid out intelligently, with many benches for resting. The colonnade with mineral water springs is 100 meters away. The hotel staff is very attentive and caring. The prices are reasonable. It was a complete positive experience!

I was in this hotel from May 15-29, 2017. Excellent new hotel in a quiet green location. There is a forest nearby. All sources are nearby. The staff is great. Nurse Paula and other health workers are very friendly. They do their job perfectly. Breakfasts are great. I liked everything. There are no cons. The first time I decided to go with my husband to get treatment: he had joints, and I had kidneys. The resort is putting it mildly, for those over 50, there are practically no young people. The hotel is located in an excellent location, 5 minutes to the colonnade, forest area, pond, gazebos, in general, everything you need for relaxation. The hotel itself is new, friendly staff. The procedures and water were beneficial. There is no point in going for less than two weeks. We started to feel results only in the third week.Negatives
The food is disgusting, non-diet, salty, peppery. Therefore, if you eat, take only breakfast or, in extreme cases, lunch. I don't recommend lunch at all. There was nothing negative. The weather forecasts were a little scary, but the rains were short-lived and did not bring any particular inconvenience. There weren't many people in the room; we tried to be out in the air more.

The sanatorium is located in an excellent location: next to a centuries-old forest, a Colonnade with mineral water, a city center with beautiful architecture, two cathedrals (Orthodox and Catholic)... The sanatorium is private: only 28 rooms, for those who like a quiet holiday, without noise. Everything is nearby; treatment, food, reception. Excellent polite staff, everyone understands Russian and helps in all matters. The food is balanced, very tasty, varied, lots of vegetables and fruits. Thoughtful design in all rooms, cozy, comfortable, clean.

My husband and I returned from this hotel 2 weeks ago. Very pleased. The hotel is small, quiet, cozy. Everything feels like home. Friendly, helpful staff, thank you very much to everyone. We had a wonderful room (apartment): a huge sofa in the living room, a comfortable bed, 2 TVs, 2 bathrooms, 2 exits to a large balcony from different rooms (in winter this is not very important, but in summer it’s beautiful!). All windows overlooked the forest. Silence and tranquility, just as we wanted. At night we opened the balcony and fell asleep to the murmur of the stream under warm blankets. The balneo center is small, but there were enough treatments. Everything is new, clean, you can transfer the procedures without any problems. Thanks to Pavle and all the medical staff. I also liked the food. We took 3 meals a day. Lunch and dinner a la carte. It was very tasty, varied and beautifully decorated. There were practically no people, so we were served very quickly. The springs are a 5-minute walk away. It’s good to go down, but you need to go uphill, we walked with a stop. When leaving the hotel, the path immediately goes into the forest, walking there is a pleasure. This is not my first time in ML, I’ve been to big hotels before, but this little one won me over. I hope that we will return here again, only in warm weather.

January is not the best time for a vacation, but I am pleased with my stay at the Forest Hotel. In the winter cold, I found here the warmth and kindness of all the hotel workers: maids, cooks, medical staff, managers. Living conditions, service, food correspond to the level of a 4-star hotel. I felt at home. Silence, cleanliness and comfort. Many thanks and respect to the workers hotels that do their job calmly, discreetly and always with a smile and a kind word. The indifference of the staff in fulfilling their duties even with a small number of guests (they forgot to warn that they would not take you to the pool; they did not remove the sauna; they did not convey the message about the transfer). The doctor prescribes procedures formally, without taking into account contraindications. Dinners are tasteless, monotonous (there are almost always potatoes with cracklings on the side), over-salted and greasy soups. The complete absence of dietary dishes, vegetables and fruits for dinner, this is the first time I have seen this in four-star hotels.
