I liked the accommodation. There is a lot of greenery around, few people, we went with a small child - it turned out to be just what we needed. Excellent WiFi. There is a bicycle rental at the hotel for 200 CZK per day. This is a place for a relaxing holiday. There is an Albert store nearby - everything you might need is there. Most of the staff speak Russian, the other part tries, but everyone understands everything and is friendly. The rooms are vacuumed, trash taken out and towels changed every day. To Prague 50 minutes by train. you can go to Kolin or Nuremberg - 10-20 min.Negatives
The biggest minus is the food. It is of course national and tasty, BUT it is far from dietary, as stated. On the 4th day in the morning even the porridge disappeared. You can choose what to eat. On weekends there is a buffet for dinner and every morning. The rest is on the menu. Drinks only in the morning, at other times - for a fee. The treatment is neither bad nor good. The doctor was Dr. Dub (yes, that’s his name =)). He prescribed massage and hydromassage, although this is contraindicated for hypertensive patients, so after the first procedure I had a headache and did not go for this massage again. Very good location of the hotel on the river bank. You can rent a bicycle from the hotel and ride on the well-maintained bike paths along the river. One day, the gloves got lost and the reception staff easily offered theirs for the bike ride. The hotel also has a gym, although there are three exercise machines in the basement. Some of the treatment was carried out at the hotel, and some had to go to the central hospital. It is very convenient with a designated time for treatment, you can plan the day in advance, and if necessary, move up the appointment time. The treatment was interesting; after taking a bath, they offered to relax on the couch, carefully wrapping you in a blanket. Meals at the hotel offer a choice of three courses. I really liked the dish, meat in prune sauce. I had a choice of meat, fish and a vegetarian table. True, for two weeks I got bored with the buffet breakfast, it was unchanged. Also, you can only drink tea for breakfast.

There is no particular negativity. The only mode for saving soap supplies. And we stopped by on Monday and changed the bed linen only a week later, but you have to take into account that after the procedures you want to lie in bed during the day. The towels were also changed once, only when they were thrown on the floor. But these little things did not dampen the mood.

The only negative is the baths in Zamechka: Mrs. Musilova does not properly treat the bath before the next patient, she made me a bath in which someone’s hair was floating, and a lot of hair, I was horrified. And the water in Zamechka is also low in carbon dioxide: if you go in the morning, it’s still good, but by the evening there are almost no gas bubbles at all.

The organization of treatment leaves many questions. We used to vacation in Karlovy Vary and got used to different regulations. The number of procedures over the same period, which is at least two weeks, is greater. The number of procedures of one type is at least 8. Manual massage is performed by the same massage therapist. Here it is based on the principle of who is free. Hence the quality. The food was also puzzling, the lack of dietary dishes, at least porridge for breakfast. Drinks for lunch and dinner are available at an additional cost. The choice of two hot dishes is also clearly not enough for a four-star hotel. The lack of napkins and tablecloths may be considered a small thing, but it lowers the level. By the way, from a conversation with friends vacationing in Libenski, people don’t like the quality of food there either. It seems that health-improving structures are focused on serving the contingent vacationing at the expense of health insurance funds. The cost of our holiday and treatment is inadequate to the declared level. Karlovy Vary remains, including in terms of prices, unrivaled.

We were in Zamechek from April 2 to April 16, 2017, we chose it because we needed to save money without losing the quality of treatment. The Czechs themselves are treated there. I really liked the hotel staff. Although only three of those we encountered understood Russian, everyone still tried to help if necessary. The room is spacious, many windows, warm, but no frills. Only the most essential things. In our room, the bathroom and toilet were combined and also spartan, there wasn’t even a hook for a robe on the wall. The hotel is located a little out of the way, on the river bank. It's very good to walk, you can rent a bike right at the hotel. Just agree in advance. We woke up early and in the morning it was time to go for a bike ride. The note is small, we went to see a doctor at another sanatorium - Libenski, then the procedures are prescribed in the central spa. Balneo and classic massage in Zameček itself, and mineral water from the spring is poured into the baths! Other procedures can be done in the central spa and in Libensky. But walking was not at all a burden. A leisurely 10 minutes through a beautiful park among cherry blossoms. The procedures are scheduled very competently; there is no need to rush between buildings. Very good coffee in the cafe in central lazne, you can sit there if you have time between procedures. Moreover, in our sanatorium there was no coffee at all. About food: modest, but we didn’t go hungry. Fine.

The rooms were poorly cleaned; practically all cleaning consisted of removing trash from the room. Of course, I would like it to be vacuumed at least. The building is very beautiful and it was very strange to see the broken paths leading to the main entrance, the absence of trash cans next to the benches, so there were a lot of cigarette butts, it was strange because... In general, the Czech Republic is very clean and tidy. Well, it would be much more convenient if for most of the procedures you didn’t have to go to other hotels, if at least most of the procedures were carried out in the Castle itself.

Very poor, monotonous breakfasts, at the level of food in a bad three-star hotel, but not in four stars. Considering that the course of treatment is quite long, breakfasts are simply boring with their meager assortment. Dinner, at least, also does not shine with a large selection of dishes (they offer to choose one of two), but it was prepared deliciously. I wish there were at least two salads to choose from, but there was only one. The pricing policy is also not very clear. Their price list indicates an additional payment for full board to half board of 6 euros per day, but in fact, with half board you pay only 2 euros less, and not 6 euros. Also about payment: the website states that payment is made in Czech crowns and I exchanged euros for crowns at the station in advance, but upon arrival I learned at the reception that it was better to pay in euros. They recalculated the crowns into euros, as a result of the difference in rates I lost 22 euros. So I kindly ask sanatoriums.com to indicate payment methods more specifically and accurately. The doctor and part of the procedures (gas injections, inhalations, swimming pool) are located in another Libensky sanatorium (15-20 minutes on foot). In cold weather this is a problem. I paid for a treatment package - 27 procedures for 12 days. We do not have time to receive procedures on the day of arrival and departure. It turns out: 27 procedures: 10 days = 2.7 procedures per day - this is too much. It's a pity that there is no package with fewer procedures. Despite the fact that I paid for the FULL PACKAGE of procedures, a PARTIAL massage was prescribed!!! Walking from the doctor to the administration began. There was no mention of a partial massage when paying.
