Abano Terme is a wonderful place for treatment and relaxation. There is a small minus: it is not very convenient to get to Venice. In this regard, the nearby town of Montegrotto is better, because... There is a railway station directly in it with a direct line to Venice. Therefore, from Montegrotto you can easily travel to Venice every day (it takes about 40 minutes with all the expectations). From Abano Terme this will not work - you will have to either take a taxi to the Montegrotto train station or go by bus.
