Very good hotel, we give it the highest score. The location is good, the spa and pools are very good. The rooms are beautiful, fresh with a wonderful view. Everything was good, all the staff in the Spa- Hotel Palace Maggiorato are friendly and professional including front desk assistants Sussane and Diana, and procedures therapists Enrico and Giuseppe. Foods in the restaurants are very good, we had not any problems, and in combination with mud procedures, hydromassages and walking in the city - the Hotel located in the center of Abano Terme - we were able to lose weight that improves the work of the joins and blood circulation.Negatives

Of the 9 days spent in the hotel, we changed 3 rooms, in the first the refrigerator deteriorated, ammonia gas was released from it, filling the entire room with toxic fumes, we moved to a second room with a smaller area next to the elevator in which the air conditioner did not work, we were given a third room, it was excellent , but there were power outages in the city. There was no light for 8 hours, the elevator and air conditioning did not work (in 35 degree heat). To solve the problem, they installed generators that made noise day and night for 2 days under our windows.. When paying, we asked the administration to give us a discount for the inconvenience we suffered, but we did not find understanding. In the reviews I have read about the hotel over the years people have written about the poor choice at breakfast, nothing has changed until now, there is still one type of cheap cheese.

The only drawback I noted is that there is no fruit for breakfast, and dinner is very late - it starts at 19.30, but actually from 20 o'clock, since the service is restaurant (not a buffet).

The location of the hotel is good. Not a bad organization for New Year's Eve at the hotel. Mud treatments and ozone baths after them, as well as the outdoor pool are generally not bad. Dinners can also be rated as good. Nearby world-famous cities of Venice, Verona, Padua, Bologna, etc. brought positivity to the stay.Negatives
There is virtually NO treatment base as such, other than mud procedures. An initial 3-minute appointment with a doctor is a mere formality for 29 Euro/person. Offering mud treatments every day for 15 days of stay is a serious test even for young people, not to mention the older generation. The DANUBIUS club member program is not working. The superior room does not meet the requirements (standard, no higher, total room area 14-15 sq.m). Bathrobes and towels for the SPA are paid for. Breakfasts for a 2-week stay at the hotel are extremely meager and monotonous (no porridge at all, no greens for breakfast, only one type of soft cheese, and this is in Italy?!).

The hotel is located at the beginning of the walking area that is very convenient. The personal is very nice, and have been answered to all our questions. I want to recognize the following receptionists Diana (speaks Russian), Suzana, Marena (both speak English). In the restaurant, the waitresses have been very polite and serve very well, especially Marchello. The room was nice and clean. The medical personnel very knowledgeable and helpful. Almost every evening the hotel has entertainment. I would suggest using this hotel for everyone.

The hotel is cozy, clean, room cleaning is timely, treatment (mud and massage) is very good, very qualified massage therapists (Giuseppe and Roberto). The staff is attentive and polite. Very nice swimming pools with hydromassage area. The food for lunch and dinner is varied (except for desserts): there is always a choice of pasta, soups, meat, fish, poultry, omelet, yogurt or juice. On Wednesdays there are dance evenings, on Fridays there are Gala dinners. The work of Sanatoriums.com manager Vaclav is beyond praise. 1. If you do not know a minimum of French, Italian, German or English, you will have a very difficult time (Russian-speaking administrator Diana works on a schedule, taking into account days off). 2. The restaurant does not have a menu in Russian, which creates certain inconveniences when translating the names of dishes (not all names are in the dictionary and the waiters also do not know all the specific culinary terminology). 3. The breakfast buffet is very monotonous, there is no fruit (except apples). 4. For lunch and dinner there is no fruit on the buffet: if you ask for fruit, they bring a small piece of watermelon, melon, peach, kiwi and pineapple on a plate - this is called a fruit plate. You can also order ice cream or a piece of cake (in 2 weeks there were only 3 types), but there should only be one dessert. The additive (and this is during the fruit season) is not required. 5. Compared to other 4-star hotels (Metropol, Venice), the restaurant has a lot of unnecessary fuss and very long service (including constant replacement of cutlery instead of having a specific table setting and waiting for a fruit plate). 6. There are no sewing kits or a shoe cleaning sponge in the rooms.

An examination by a doctor is a formality; all clients of your site are prescribed the same treatment - mud, regardless of their state of health. 24 promised procedures resulted in 8 mud, because each mud consists of 3 procedures (1 - wrapping in hot mud for 15 minutes, 2 - washing off the mud and sitting in a thermal bath for 10 minutes, 3 - adding ozone to this bath). All other procedures cost extra money. The food is too plentiful, but not tasty, although the products are very good and varied. It is better to book a hotel and breakfast through other sites, and order the necessary medical procedures at the hotel on the advice of your doctor, and not a local one; there are a lot of different procedures here. You can have lunch and dinner in cozy restaurants, of which there are many.
