Treatment chronic pneumonia in Ein Bokek (Dead Sea)
Chronic inflammatory process localized in the lung tissues, the morphological substrate of which is pneumosclerosis or carnification of the lung tissue, a complication of acute pneumonia. If simpler, the inflammation is not completely treated, and the lung tissue is replaced by non-functioning connective tissue. In case of chronic pneumonia, the bronchial tree undergoes irreversible changes. Symptomatology is expressed by irregular recurrences of pneumonia: a rise in body temperature, lethargy, cough with sputum, loss of appetite, noises and wheezing during breathing. The treatment program includes taking antibacterial, muco- and bronchodilator drugs, vitamins, administration of calcium chloride, infusion and immunocorrective therapy. In the remission period inhalations, breathing exercises, balneotherapy and physiotherapy procedures are held, electrotherapy and massage are prescribed.
