One of us got stuck in the elevator and for 10 minutes (!!!) no one responded to pressing the SOS button from the elevator car. We managed to get out only because someone called the elevator and the cabin moved. The "variety" of food corresponds to the requirements of a 2-star hotel.

We vacationed in Karlovy Vary from January 18 to January 28, 2020. I liked absolutely everything - the location of the hotel, the room, the treatment, the food. When booking a hotel through Sanatoriums, we received timely answers to all questions. Transfer to the hotel and back was provided minute by minute!!! The free excursion to Prague was conducted by a wonderful guide, Valentina, for which the hotel respects her! Thanks to everyone involved, have a rest! We will definitely be back. We rested with my wife from January 3 to January 14. Very cozy, warm and clean rooms. Very helpful staff, both at the reception and in the restaurant. The medical staff is qualified. I have never received such a high-quality massage in any sanatorium in Karlovy Vary. Gorgeous (for Karlovy Vary) swimming pool. Some rooms have a door to the next room, we had to change it because we could hear the neighbors very much. The food seems to be not bad, but the range could be larger in a 4**** sanatorium!

The food is healthy, the main courses are quite tasty, but the assortment is very modest. Breakfast is standard, for lunch there is an empty light soup and one small main course. Plus cucumbers, tomatoes and a couple of types of buns.

The main drawback of Olympia is its chief doctor. All meetings with her are a waste of time, which she tries to reduce to a minimum. It is impossible to have any conversations about treatment and illness with her, she thinks about other things and does not look at you.

We booked a room for 10 days, which included laboratory tests. We arrived, and they told us that laboratory tests must be paid for, since our stay was booked for less than 14 days. Why wasn't this mentioned on the website where we booked? Tests are very expensive. On the first day, we had not yet figured out the exchange rate of the crown in relation to the hryvnia and we were well “conned”. For the two of us, we paid 13.5 thousand UAH for the tests. This included blood tests, urine tests and ultrasound. The exchange rate between the crown and the hryvnia is 1:1. The cost of ultrasound is 4320 UAH. In Ukraine, for that kind of money, how many tests can you get? The doctor's attitude towards prescribing procedures is complete indifference. Just give her something to do. And then we changed these procedures because we simply didn’t need them. The doctor never had time for us. Even when we arrived at the appointed time, we heard: “I have two minutes, I’m running to another sanatorium.”
