Mud applications
Mud applications are the imposition of a layer of therapeutic mud (silt 4-6 cm, peat 6-8 cm) on different parts of the body, depending on the doctor's prescriptions in the localization of the pathological process. Usually the temperature of the mud is 38-42 degrees Celsius. There are several types of mud applications: "collar" (overlaying a layer of dirt on the collar area), "panties" (on the groin), "socks", "gloves". There are 3 phases in mud therapy. The first is the reflex phase, when the dirt acts on the skin receptors and it is through them that the central nervous system is affected (the central nervous system is responsible for the self-regulation of important vital processes in the body). The second phase is neurochemical, when biologically active substances are synthesized in the body, their circulation in the blood. The third phase is the reaction to the effects of therapeutic mud: the blood supply to various tissues and organs improves, the absorption of oxygen increases, the products of inflammatory processes (harmful substances, slags) are removed from the body, the protective mechanisms of the body are activated. The third phase is the longest of all (from 2 to 24 hours). Since mud applications are accompanied by less overheating of the body, put less stress on the cardiovascular system, they are more easily tolerated than mud baths.
more infoMud bath
Mud baths are usually carried out on the basis of therapeutic peat mud with a temperature of 36-38 °C. Mud baths, in order to avoid excessive load on the body, should be carried out every other day. Therapeutic mud acts on the skin, and also penetrating through it, saturates the body with chemicals. Heat from the mud warms up the internal organs, which contributes to the flow of blood to them, inhibits the activity of the central nervous system. Mud bath reduces muscle tone, reduces blood pressure, reduces pain, removes pathogens from the skin, eliminates inflammatory processes. I especially want to note that when medicinal mud is mixed with mineral water, it leaches out, that is, minerals are released from it more actively, which enhances the therapeutic effect.
more infoMud wraps
The procedure consists in applying on the body a layer of curative mud heated to 40 degrees with a thickness of about 6 mm and then wrapping the patient with a film and a blanket to prolong the thermal effect. Mud wrapping has a powerful therapeutic effect: cleanses and stimulates all layers of the skin, helps muscles and ligaments relax, soothes the nervous system and improves sleep. Also, a complex body wrap normalizes blood circulation, reduces the intensity of joint pain, and also increases the amount of movement in the joints and spine.
more infoOxygen therapy
Oxygen therapy is a method of treating oxygen by inhalation. It is used in many diseases of the circulatory and respiratory organs. Also, this method can be used for gastric ulcer, gastritis, liver and kidney diseases, inflammation of the joints. Oxygen therapy is effective in treating oxygen deficiency in the central nervous system, which is most common in the elderly, as well as in inflammation of the nerves. In addition, it helps with heart rhythm disorders. Oxygen therapy is contraindicated in metabolic disorders, acute inflammatory disease, bleeding, blood clotting disorders.
more infoParaffin wrap
The procedure improves joint mobility, reduces chronic pain, activates immune processes, and has anti-inflammatory effects.
more infoPartial massage
It is applied locally on specific problem areas of the body - head, neck, legs, feet.
more infoReflex foot massage
With the help of a special technique, nerve endings are stimulated on the feet, which has a relaxing and analgesic effect. This massage has a positive effect on the lymphatic and immune system, normalization of the activity of the endocrine glands occurs.
more infoStone massage
Volcanic rock stones, which retain heat well, warm up to 50 °C. They carry out massage techniques, after that they are laid out on the back. The effect of the massage - improving blood circulation, reducing pain, stimulating the immune and lymphatic systems.
more infoThai massage
It improves blood circulation, reduces edema, removes toxins from the body, develops joints, stabilizes the nervous system.
more infoUltrasound
When ultrasound affects the body, its energy is converted into heat, which is why this procedure has a more thermal effect. Ultrasound promotes tissue micromassage, which increases blood circulation, stimulates metabolic processes and improves tissue function. Since skin can reflect ultrasound, ultrasound exposure region is usually worked with gel. Ultrasound is very effective for the treatment of myalgia, neuralgia, neuritis, arthrosis, arthritis, periarthritis. It should be noted that in the treatment of even one joint there is a parallel improvement in the condition of the other joints - this is a special property of ultrasound exposure. Contraindications for ultrasound treatment: tumors, pulmonary tuberculosis, hypertension, hypothyroidism, pregnancy.
more infoUnderwater massage
The massage is performed by the pressure of the water jet when the patient is immersed in a bath. The procedure effectively relaxes muscles, relieves spasms, activates blood circulation.
more infoVacuum massage
Vacuum massage is a procedure that improves blood circulation and increases metabolism. Vacuum massage creates pressure drops, with the result that blood gets better to biologically active points, and regeneration processes are improved. Vacuum massage is contraindicated in: malignant tumors, acute inflammatory and infectious diseases, skin and blood diseases, acute rheumatism, tuberculosis, thrombophlebitis.
more infoWater supply from the spring
In this spa hotel held thermal or mineral water (depending on what type of healing water is at a particular resort). This means that some water procedures (as a rule, mineral or thermal baths, pearl and carbon dioxide baths, hydroxer, gum irrigation, underwater massage, etc.) are carried out on the basis of natural healing water.
more infoWhirlpool bath for hands
Bath for upper limbs with a temperature of 35-38 °C. It has a massaging effect on the skin, warms the tissue. Relieves muscle spasms, improves blood circulation, has an anesthetic effect.
more infoWhirlpool baths for feet
The procedure can be carried out both in ordinary and in mineral water. As a result of water turbulence, the skin is massaged, promoting blood circulation and warming tissues. Accordingly activates metabolic processes and the removal of toxins from the body. Regular holding of the whirlpool leads to the elimination of muscle spasms and reduction of pain syndrome.
