Treatment idiopathic gout in Montecatini Terme
Rheumatic pathology caused by impaired uric acid metabolism. Idiopathic gout is manifested by kidney damage and acute arthritis, gradually flowing into a chronic form. In the initial stages, the disease in the vast majority of cases is asymptomatic, therefore, it is usually diagnosed with the development of acute gouty arthritis. Patients complain of joint pain attacks, most often in the morning or at night, the affected joint swells, redness appears on the skin. The pain increases gradually, the attacks last 2-3 days (in rare cases, up to 10 days), after which the attacks stop and the joint functions normalize. Without treatment, the disease takes a chronic form, recurs, affecting not just one joint, but several. The joints are deformed, visually enlarged, their mobility is limited, tofuses are formed. Idiopathic gout cannot be completely cured, but diet, regular gymnastics, physiotherapy and medical treatment can minimize the frequency and intensity of gout attacks.
