The health resort of Palanga is very well located on the Baltic Sea, there are several opportunities for sightseeing and walking. The pine forests are beautiful. We also liked the sanatorium itself, but the organization of the transfer from Vilnius to Palanga and back was not so good. Given that there is an airport in Palanga, the three and a half hour drive wasn't great. Otherwise everything was good, we definitely weren't in Palanga for the last time.

Palanga is a beautiful place for vacation that has something for everyone - a very lively pedestrian zone with souvenir sellers, attractions, countless restaurants, coffee shops and right next to it a huge landscape park with small ponds, shady spots and a very beautiful amber museum. Cyclists can enjoy the endless cycle paths - along the coast all the way to Latvia, but you can also cycle inland through fields and forests. The beach is nice and long and wide with fine sand. However, it is very crowded in hot weather, especially near the pier.
