The room number of our stay was 7. When handing over the keys to the room, the owner warned that the key to the safe would not work because the safe lock was broken. The hotel was practically empty on the day we checked in. Could they have given us the keys to another room? Unfortunatelly, it was non expected problem with key for the safe, so we were not able to handle it immediatelly. Any case, safe at the reception is at disposal for our guests in such a situation, You, unfortunatelly, didnt ask to keep your documents etc. during your stay, we would arrange it for you without any problems and free of charge. Other room was not at disposal for all days of your stay, 2 days after your arrival we were fully booked and it were all long stay reservations, so we have to manage it continually. Lack of the main healing factors of the resort - mineral water and mud. To get this I had to walk about 30 minutes to the Ostrov area, which was difficult for me at first. It might be worth choosing a hotel in the Ostrov area, although it is much more expensive.

Good price 220 euros for 7 nights in November 2019. Unfortunately, the price has now been raised first to 315 then to 440 euros for 7 days in 2020. Very nice staff. Thanks to the waiters Richard and Lyudmila for their sweet attitude, to the massage therapist and physiotherapist Ivan for his attentiveness and responsiveness, Maria at the reception is a nice woman, for the very tasty food to the cooks Yaroslav, Igor, Yank)) Also to Dr. Velecka. It takes 10 minutes to walk through the field to the navigator to the swimming pool island. 30 minutes to Thermia Palace. So it turns out to be a good saving compared to hotel prices for accommodation on the bathing island. Treatments in the thermal baths on the island can be purchased separately at the Napoleon Hotel for 7.5 euros for a 20-minute mirror pool and 12 euros for a 20-minute mirror and mud pool and then lie for 15-30 minutes sweating in a dry wrap. On the bathing island, a day starts at 60-70 euros. Through the field you reach the Balneo Grand Hotel and from there a bus to the train station through the center of Pijaštany. You can also take a 4 minute bus from the stop near the hotel to Piyaštany. The effect of thermal water is strong and so is the effect of mud. In the hotel itself over 7 days there are 19 procedures: 1 back massage, 1 foot massage, pearl bath 2, peat wrap 2 (this is a mud pad on the back or other area), hydromassage 2, hay pad 1, oxygen therapy 2, Finnish sauna 2, Kneipp foot bath 2, infrared sauna 2, biotron back lamp 2.Negatives
It’s bad that in 7 days 19 procedures were distributed over 4 days. Moreover, they must be completed in 2 hours. That is 5 procedures in 2 hours. This is a big load. I seem to have agreed with the physiotherapist Ivan that there will be 3 procedures in the morning, and a sauna and some more in the evening. But the owner didn’t like it, he scolded Ivan and told him all the procedures in the morning. Or, for the evening, pay an extra 5 euros for visiting the sauna and other evening treatments. Plus, the doctor’s appointment was on the second day after 19.00, after the first procedures were completed in the morning. That is, when I arrived, they sent out a sheet with the procedures already prescribed without me. This is, of course, more of a wellness hotel, with thermal water on the bathing island. For 220 euros a week approx. But when it’s now under 400 euros, I don’t know if it’s right to raise the price like that. The competitive advantage with the smoking island is lost. Night at the swimming pool from 60 euros. But there are many socialist examples of buildings there besides the old Teria, Pro Patria and Napoleon. The theme itself is new and beautiful. Let's start with the hotel manager - Zdeno. He speaks Russian quite well, helps you adapt to the hotel and patiently explains everything. The restaurant (restaurant) is as follows: in the morning - a buffet: bacon, ham, a large selection of cheeses, tea, coffee, juices, etc. For lunch there are delicious soups, main courses of meat or seafood and, of course, dessert. For dinner - meat and poultry dishes (for example, roast duck), as well as delicious fresh salads. Alcoholic drinks must be ordered separately and are not included in the general menu; they are available for an additional fee. Procedures are carried out in the morning from 9.00 to 12.00. Basic procedures include massage of the back and neck, application of mud packs to sore spots, oxygen breathing through a special apparatus. Auxiliary facilities include a hydromassage bath, sauna, and infrared heating. The guest rooms are very comfortable. They have Wi-Fi, TV, electric kettle, fruit, mineral water, a set of cups for two people, a selection of different types of tea, which are replenished by the service staff. The hotel also has a small parking lot for 12 cars, which is under surveillance. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay with the spa treatments. Only advantages! The food is at the highest level, the breakfasts are very rich (for Europe), lunches and dinners are a la carte, everything is very tasty. The owner is great, organizes wine tastings, and grills are served for dinner once a week. The room was cleaned every day. The staff speaks Russian, German and, of course, Slovak. A nice bonus upon check-in were two bottles of water and a plate of fruit. Spa treatments are good: massage, saunas (infrared and Finnish) and other treatments. The hotel itself is small, which was also a plus for us, it is located in the village of Moravany nad Vach, where it is very pleasant to walk around the village itself, and walk to the bathing island (2 km one way), walk along the embankment of the Vach River, this is the second largest the largest river in Slovakia after the Danube, take a walk around the city of Piestany itself and the bathing island. It's an hour's train ride from Piestany to Bratislava, we went twice. Buses to Piestany run according to the schedule that guests receive upon check-in at the hotel. Also, if you are staying at a hotel with procedures, you will receive a schedule of procedures upon check-in. You can take excursions from your guide Veronica, and she also organizes transfers to the airports of Bratislava or Vienna. I would like to note that the hotel owner himself personally escorted us out of the hotel early in the morning at 6:00 and wished us a good way to get home. I think we will come back here again and will recommend this hotel to our friends, we really liked it. Thanks to all the staff!Negatives

There is no negativity. Those who consider the hotel’s distance from the resort center (Kupelny Island) and from the shopping center (Au Park) to be a disadvantage are deeply mistaken. This is one of the advantages of the Tematin SPA Hotel - motivation to WALK. Walk with purpose, and not lie on the couch or wander aimlessly down the alley.
