I really like the location and the hotel itself, we have been vacationing there for 4 winters in a row. We do not undergo treatment, we only use a swimming pool with mineral water (the pool is not for swimming - underwater massage, jacuzzi). Mostly walks along the sea - The weather is excellent, warm, the promenade to the next town is 3.5-4 km, leisurely, there are excellent restaurants there, and the return trip is the same. A big plus is the possibility of moving a dog.Negatives
You must inform the hotel in advance if you have a pet. Despite my request and a separate call to Sanatorium.com with a request to inform the hotel about the presence of a dog (we were assured that this was not necessary, so we ourselves did not inform the hotel about the presence of a dog), this was not done and as a result, the hotel There were no rooms for checking in with a dog. We were still accommodated, of course, but in a different room (more expensive than the one we had booked). This spoiled the mood a little on the day of arrival. But this is the only negative point.

Nice thermal spa complex with sea water and various pools. Convenient for small children too. Good location of the hotel. Access to convenient Medusa beach, it's a pity that we were there at the end of winter, the beach is very attractive. The staff is friendly and helpful. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at the Grand Hotel Portorož. The staff were helpful, caring and friendly, we had a wonderful surprise, an amazing upgrade to our room, with the sweetest touch, roses and wine. Everything was spotlessly clean and quiet. We were very pleased with our stay here, it truly exceeded our expectations.
