Fatty hepatosis (fatty degeneration of the liver, steatosis, obesity of the liver) - the name of the group of liver diseases for which a characteristic manifestation is the accumulation of fat in the liver, which impedes its normal functioning. The peculiarity and complexity of fatty hepatosis is the almost complete absence of symptoms with serious morphological changes.
