Orchitis is an inflammation of the testicular tissue; epididymitis is an inflammation of its epididymis. These two diseases always go side by side, as with the inflammation of one organ, the other is affected. Orchitis and epididymitis usually develops on the background of infectious diseases, less often after injury or because of microbacteria. Diseases may develop due to STDs or inflammatory diseases of the urogenital system. Symptoms of the disease are: pain in the testicle, an increase in the scrotum, swelling and redness, common signs of inflammation. The pain often gives in the perineum, lumbar and sacral areas. Immediate treatment is required, as orchitis and epididymitis can take a chronic form, which is dangerously with infertile. Drug treatment, in the presence of an ulcer, an autopsy and drainage are performed, in the most advanced cases, the testicle is removed.
