I have experience of recreation and treatment in sanatoriums, mainly abroad. This resort pleasantly surprised me. An excellent room (there was a two-room apartment with a kitchenette) was cleaned daily and efficiently. Gorgeous view from the windows - of the city and the park. Friendly staff at all levels. Treatment... The next day upon arrival, a doctor’s examination and excellent recommendations for treatment. There are a lot of procedures, but some were paid extra (massages, mostly). All procedures are exactly as scheduled, there is no need to wait. The pump room is in the hotel, but if you want to walk more, then the central pump room is 1.2 km away. Excellent fitness in the fresh air. What I especially liked was the possibility of examination (blood tests, ultrasound of various organs, consultation with a gynecologist, urologist, endocrinologist), the opportunity to immediately be treated with intravenous and intramuscular injections. Special thanks to the kitchen staff for the excellent dietary food, which was different every day for the 21st day. I feel rested and have returned thinner (not because there was nothing to eat, but because it was cooked correctly and very tasty). I'll definitely be back!Negatives

We are fans of mineral waters and mud therapy. We have already visited 27 balneological places in the world: from Japanese onsens in the east to the hot mineral waters of Wyoming and California in the west. Each place is interesting in its own way: somewhere you can only drink water, somewhere you can only get wet, somewhere you can also take various medical procedures, some springs are near the sea, some are in the mountains, some are in cities, large or small... We decided to go to Truskavets because of the unique mineral water Naftusya, and we chose the Lesnaya Pesnya hotel because of the excellent “ALL-IN-ONE” combination: drinking, baths with mineral water, mud, related therapeutic procedures, dietary meals (all under the supervision of doctors) and a forest area adjacent to the hotel, suitable for hiking. The time we chose for the trip was off-season, so we were prepared for rain... in fact, it turned out to be snow. But the bad weather did not prevent us from having a good rest and healing. It turned out to be very convenient that the pump room with mineral waters is located right in the hotel. We were prescribed 8 doses: 5 times Naftusya (3 times an hour before meals, 2 times an hour after meals) and 3 times Maria (30 minutes before meals). If you had to go to the pump room and at the same time get dressed every time, most likely it would not be possible to accurately follow the instructions. The presence of a pump room inside the hotel, in addition, saved us time to receive more procedures, both additional and those that were included in the package price. Having compared Truskavets hotels by the number of procedures for which you do not have to pay extra, we saw that Lesnaya Pesnya is much better than the others in this regard. First of all, I would like to say about the hotel’s medical center, since treatment is what we came here for. The organization is great. All patients (here they are called GUESTS) have a card, according to which all information about appointments and schedules (procedures and meals) is read in each office. We took a package that included accommodation, food and treatment. At the same time, the first visits to a therapist and medical specialists and some tests are included in the price of the package. All the doctors made a very pleasant impression (with the exception of the dematologist/cosmetologist, whose visit reminded us of an appointment at a Soviet clinic in its worst version). We were very pleased with our therapist - chief physician Zaryana Orestovna. The tests and prescriptions were competent and consistent, so the treatment turned out to have real positive results; attentive attitude even outside the office. We highly recommend urologist O. Fomin to all visitors, who not only tries to understand the essence of the problem in detail, but also gives competent and very useful recommendations. The medical center has several well-equipped rooms, everything is very clean, comfortable, all the girls-nurses are very polite, courteous and, as luck would have it, very beautiful. In the treatment room they are masterfully administering intravenous injections, the girls are just great! Inhalation room - I never had to wait a single minute, the girls work quickly and harmoniously. Nowadays, when the danger of contracting influenza is so great, the importance of procedures in such an office rises, not only for treatment, but also for prevention. We took oxygen inhalations with vitamins and colloidal silver. Mud treatment room. A very pleasant procedure is the application of heated mud (ozokerite) plates to various problematic parts of the body - joints, muscles, organs. Massage room. We tried 4 different massage therapists, we will not recommend anyone. Although they are all very diligent, with good hands and energy, professional skills are not enough, you need to study and study... The physiotherapy room is quite large, there are many booths. Unfortunately, this type of physical therapy is dying in Europe, and almost non-existent in America. Therefore, when choosing a hotel, the presence of this office was one of the defining moments. We tried phonophoresis, amplipulse, laser therapy (scanning and supravenous), magnetic therapy and ultrasound. The hotel's spa has very good equipment. There are many procedures, we tried only 2: hydromassage (nurse Oksana does it very well) with bischofite (magnesium salt) and baths with mineral water. Very pleasant (and useful!) procedures. The balneological center also performs intestinal lavage with mineral water followed by microenemas to restore intestinal flora. Here we recommend nurse Galina. He does everything so gently that there are no unpleasant sensations. In addition, among our appointments there was also the Salt Cave office. Large enough, beautiful with comfortable chairs and disposable shoes. But it was impossible to relax and rest - the bravura Christmas music (this is the end of February and March!) was not conducive to this at all. The same music, endlessly repeated, in all offices! It probably hasn't been changed since December. The coordinators of all these offices are wonderful girls who work at the reception of the medical center - incredibly patient, polite and courteous. They never refused to change the time of procedures and always fulfilled all our requests. The staff at the hotel reception is also responsive and attentive. We were asked if everything was satisfactory, if there were any comments or suggestions. I was left with a very pleasant impression. The hotel itself is new, beautiful, clean! Well-groomed indoor plants. Near the pump room there is a hall with comfortable upholstered furniture, where it was very pleasant to sit, drink mineral water, and chat with people. Acquaintances began, with an exchange of addresses. I must say that the hotel contingent is very nice people, mostly families. There are no complaints about the cleaning of the room. The same applies to washing our linen: we dropped it off after breakfast and received it after lunch. Everything is on the level! The hotel has a good bar, helpful bartenders. I liked the oxygen foams with locric root and rosehip, which, by the way, were included in the price of the package. It would be nice if, in addition to this, they offered foam with something soothing for the night, for example, motherwort and hawthorn... The bar also offered food around the clock, but we did not use this service and cannot evaluate it. But the very fact of having such a service raises the level of the hotel very high. There are still services that we did not use. The first is a children's center. While parents are undergoing procedures, teachers can work with children: games, reading, drawing... The second is a fitness center. The saunas are not bad, the pool is a bit small. Everywhere is beautiful and well maintained. A pleasant surprise were 2 live music concerts in the central hall of the hotel. There are bright pleasant memories left. We don’t speak Ukrainian, we came to Ukraine for the first time, but there were no problems in communication, almost everyone could speak Russian to us, both staff and vacationers, even children. However, we would like to warn those who do not speak Ukrainian who want to come here to ask about the language when choosing an excursion. At the hotel every morning you could meet with the tour operator and choose an excursion for a day or half a day. It is very convenient: they pick you up from the hotel and bring you back. We took two excursions, one of them was in Ukrainian. And if we somehow still understood the guide on the bus, we didn’t understand the local guide (Transcarpathia) at all. But, nevertheless, I must say that we liked both excursions: one to Mukachevo and Beregovo (a very knowledgeable guide!), the other to Lviv. We recommend. And I’d like to talk separately about the hotel restaurant! The food and service in the restaurant deserve the highest praise! There is a widespread belief that dietary, healthy nutrition is something tasteless, and everything tasty is usually unhealthy. This restaurant had everything right (steamed, boiled, baked, nothing fried), but at the same time very tasty. The menu is varied. You can write a song of praise about every dish! One carrot-curd casserole is worth it! Soups, cereals, fish, meat, jelly, vegetables, fruits, herbal infusions, baked goods!!! Great thank you! The waiters cleared the tables quickly, quickly brought new dishes to serve, and even changed the plates under the serving spoons. There were never any spills or crumbs, which inevitably happens with a buffet service. Part of the butter (for porridge and potatoes) was heated on the burner, and the other part (for sandwiches) lay on top of the ice. There are always clean cloth napkins on the tables on top of the tablecloths. There were no queues for food. There were always empty seats at the tables. The only thing I could complain about is the holes in the salt shakers on the tables are too big. We will remember Ukrainian cuisine for a long time! The airport transfer (ordered through sanatorium.com) also deserves the highest rating. We rested at the Lesnaya Pesnya sanatorium in October 2019. Advantages: The hotel is spacious, modern layout and decoration, clean. A gym with a solid range of different exercise equipment (free) and a decent children's room. There is a swimming pool, but we didn't use it. Meals: buffet with a traditional set of dishes, unobtrusive and polite restaurant staff who quickly clean up after visitors and quickly put out food again. Take whatever and as much as you want, they don’t follow you. There is a lobby bar with coffee and alcohol. Relaxation: I liked the musical evenings on weekends in the hotel lobby (live music) to which people even dance. Rooms: the rooms are spacious, well and often cleaned, beds and towels are also changed frequently. Everything in the toilet and shower is up to standard. The heating works fine.. In our room, the mattresses on the beds were squashed, it was uncomfortable to sleep, like in a hammock. We consider this a serious disadvantage. For example, a phone, tablet, etc. that is placed on charge will not be charged in your absence, which creates inconvenience. The refrigerator in the room is very weak, it barely cools even at full power. However, despite the listed shortcomings, overall the Lesnaya Pesnya hotel left a positive impression.
