Then it turned out that we had an appointment with a doctor for Monday at 11:20. We asked to reschedule us earlier, to which we were told “they can’t do anything” because the earlier time was already taken. We were indignant, citing the fact that today is Friday and we are the first to check in, and guests will be checking in on Saturday and Sunday, so why is it that we are not the first in line to see the doctor, but the last? Again, the employee immediately connects us with the representative of Sanatoriums.com in Heviz, Marina, by phone and she again replies that “she can’t do anything.” We realized that the representatives of Sanatoriums do not decide anything at all in this hotel, unlike “1000 Roads” and “Robinson”. We rested for 2 weeks from September 13 to 27, and our daughter and her husband should come next from September 29 to October 13, also from Sanatoriums. Having taken note of all the comments about the earlier wish to settle in a normal room and make an appointment with a doctor, we immediately began to worry about our daughter’s comfortable check-in and an earlier doctor’s appointment. At the reception we were promised an appointment with a doctor at 9:00, and to book a room a day or two before arrival. We did so, but again we heard that our daughter would be given a room on the 1st floor and the one on the far right was the worst of all possible Superior rooms, and the doctor would see them at 11:50. And of course they “can’t do anything” because, in their words: “the Germans are coming.” Well, what else can we say to liberal and democratic Europe? But at that moment in the hotel we saw the representative of Sanatoriums Marina for the first time and, of course, we told her everything that I stated in the review. We persistently asked her to intervene in the situation, but she, as always, answered that “she couldn’t do anything.” Having learned about our situation, other vacationers also began to beg Marina to intervene in the situation and she kindly agreed. After this, the daughter was still given the normal number 305, but the time for visiting the doctor was left the same - 11:50. Unfortunately, Sanatoriums, unlike “1000 Roads” and “Robinson”, is not an authority for the Europe Hotel, and when ordering a room in the highest price category through the Sanatoriums.com website, you get the worst of this category, while other guests do not. This was the case with us in Pyashtina at the Thermia Palace Hotel, where we also booked the most expensive room on the Sanatoriums website - Apartment with a balcony and, of course, got the most extreme one overlooking the road and the utility yard with a French balcony, and not a large one like in others rooms of the same category. And the answer has already been worked out: “we can’t do anything.” Even if you don’t publish my review, at least you will know the truth about yourself. But, as I said at the beginning of my review, it all depends on your own mood and we had a very good rest. And Hungary is good and the people are wonderful.Positives

Thanks to Marina, the representative in Heviz for organizing the cultural program and useful advice, Tanya and Oksana, the hotel reception staff, as well as all the hotel staff, because from cleaning the room to carrying out medical procedures, everything was excellent! About the hotel: there is always something to do: bicycles, Nordic walking, Lake Balaton - 25 min by bike, nice pool area. And don't miss the aufguss (bath ritual) in the sauna at 17:00. The Internet works perfectly - the speed allows you to watch movies right in the room (although some complain about glitches), the tea and coffee sets in the room are replenished daily and the air conditioning never failed, although the whole time I was in Heviz the heat was below 40C.. Definitely I can recommend this hotel for picky eaters, which I myself am! The choice of dishes, the quality of products and preparation, as well as their presentation are very impressive! All dishes are prepared with great love! There is something for vegetarians and even vegans to enjoy! Hotel chef - I love you! Every time I visit you amaze me again and again! The service in both the restaurant and bar is excellent - helpful head waiters, well-trained waiters - they remember you, they are always friendly and smiling (and this despite the huge number of guests during the peak season)! This time I booked a hotel without treatment - personally, I only need a lake, a massage (and there are a lot of massage parlors around), herbal teas (they are brewed daily and the range is amazing in its variety) and excursions (after all, new experiences are part of the treatment). For new experiences/countries/dishes, etc. you can go with “Robinson”, “1000 roads”, or with an individual guide - the hotel’s guest manager (Tatiana and Oksana) will definitely help you! On the way to Vienna airport, I even managed to drop into the Laxenburg palace and park complex for a couple of hours (although the transfer was individual). There was a case - 25.07 in the morning, at 10 00, when after the "extraction" procedure, after a 10-minute stay in the shower and using a towel, my wife asked for a new dry one, she was refused (the name of the employee was on the chest badge - Tibor Nojari), although she was also present a basket for used towels and dry towels on the shelves in the closet. He explained this by saying that a towel is provided only once a day. Sometimes even in the morning there is no basket at the pool to return wet used towels. This creates very great inconvenience, since the therapeutic water procedures, the pool, and the lake naturally require a dry, fresh towel. It is desirable that the receipt of used wet ones and the receipt of new dry ones would not be limited during the day to a single reception and delivery. It is clear that in some cases there may not be enough new dry towels, then the refusal of them is not offensive and you can dry the orange towels from the pool yourself or, apparently, you can use the white towel from the room, then dry them for reuse, although this is difficult to do in rainy and cloudy days. Once again I want to emphasize that the need for dry towels is great due to the ongoing therapeutic water procedures, as well as swimming in the pool and lake. The issue can be resolved by organizing the reception and delivery of towels during the entire period of operation of the pool. The second wish concerns the kitchen. As a gastroenterologist (professor), I want to say that sometimes meat dishes were too salty, and yoghurts with dill were too sweet, and pickles and sauerkraut were saturated with sugar, seasoned with essence, not fruit vinegar. Such food is harmful not only to the stomach, but also to the cardiovascular system and metabolism in general.
