Rather, this is not a negative review, but a wish. Very small sauna and not enough hammam. It is also advisable to install more water coolers, since you have to take water with you for procedures. And I would like the package to include a general massage.

The treatments, especially the massages, were just enough that you couldn't complain because what was ordered was done. Unfortunately, the way it was done was inadequate in 2/3. One got the impression that the therapist had no desire or no idea or both. With inhalation therapy you were given a plastic cup - like the one available in every pharmacy - with a little salt water. I expected more in a 5 star spa clinic. The language barrier was also a big drawback. Even the doctor didn't speak German or English well enough. But fluent in Russian. In an international 5 star hotel, which is supposedly designed for German spa guests, I found this very poor.

We got a room upgrade - on the 6th floor, very quiet, with a very nice view and lots of space. Check in was very quick and the staff was very friendly, all questions were answered and all information was provided. The hotel is very nice and large, the food is very good (something new every day). Staff in the restaurant very helpful and friendly. Own water source directly connected to the hotel. We have an anti-stress program with 4 applications. They were more simple applications for relaxation. Upon request, the head massage was swapped for a back massage - totally unproblematic and very friendly!! It was a very nice and relaxing 5 days at the Hotel Imperial and we would love to come back!Negatives
Unfortunately, the sauna was very small for the size of the hotel, and the water in the pool was heavily chlorinated at the end of the day - so I deducted one point from the treatments…

The hotel rooms are large, nice and clean. The food is (as stated) rather healthy and therefore not very unusual. Overall, the food was tasty.Negatives
The service and friendliness of the staff really leaves something to be desired. During the treatments you are treated like an unwanted patient. There is a hospital feeling, although you could make it really comfortable and nicer with smaller changes. Sometimes there was so much going on at meal times that there was no space. The staff didn't care - we should be patient, they told us with full plates. A couple kindly offered to sit with them so that the food wouldn't get cold. For these reasons, this hotel definitely doesn't deserve a 5* rating. The trip to Prague, which was included, was only in Russian on the bus. On the way we spoke non-stop in Russian for 2 hours. Only when we arrived in Prague was it explained in Russian that there was a German tour of Prague. Luckily there was a woman who spoke both languages and translated for us. Otherwise we would not have found the German group. On the way back, the only language spoken on the bus was Russian. We couldn't understand this service at all.

We vacationed at Imperial for the sixth time and again left very satisfied! Imperial never stops improving! We installed capsule coffee machines in the rooms! The rooms have very comfortable blankets and pillows! The friendliest staff and great service! The balneocomplex provides excellent services as always! Wonderful varied cuisine!

1. The cleaning lady stole 50 euros while cleaning the room. 2. The system for prescribing procedures by a doctor is inconvenient. We lose one day just to first make an appointment with the nurse, then with the doctor, and then with the reception for procedures. As a result, one day is lost. When extending your stay, the situation is the same. 3. People are cold on average. But not all.

The price-performance ratio and the uncomplicated booking via sanatoriums.com. The hotel is a gem for those who appreciate the architecture and splendor of days gone by. The cleanliness is 10 points everywhere. The applications are well organized and carried out, the admission interview (Sister Jana and Dr Marie P.) is professional (you should have read the applications yourself beforehand in order to make adjustments if necessary ;-)). In addition to Russian and English, German is also spoken.Negatives
The friendliness (even if it is probably culturally determined, it was like this almost everywhere in the city) and the commitment of the employees (reception, service) were expandable, not very solution-oriented. - This does not apply to the employees in the applications, they do a solid job Work, even if they sometimes work under very time pressure.

One of the main problems in this five-star hotel, in addition to a number of organizational issues, is the complete inability to get enough sleep. Every morning, cleaning of the corridors and neighboring rooms begins with an incredible roar. The maids approach their work with great responsibility with a proportional level of noise accompaniment. It is not clear why the management of the sanatorium believes that vacationers should be subjected to this forced awakening at 8 o'clock in the morning every day and why cleaning cannot be carried out during the daytime. As a result, a five-star hotel begins to create the feeling of a pioneer camp. I would really like the administration to live up to the declared “star” status and take into account the fact that people who come on vacation will quite possibly want to get a good night’s sleep. With the current schedule of aggressive cleaning of premises, this is, in principle, impossible.

The rooms are really very tastefully and chicly furnished, only the mattresses need to be replaced, unfortunately they are a bit too soft... And in the great large bathrooms, the shower facilities in the tubs are unfortunately not optimal.
