Sanatorium Sanssoussi **** Sanatorium in a very beautiful place, one might say in the forest, on a hill, on the outskirts of the Karlovy Vary resort area. There is a bus 2 (free travel) to the springs 2-3 times an hour directly from the sanatorium, convenient. The staff is polite, friendly, they speak three languages, all issues were resolved very quickly. The rooms are comfortable, everything is there for a normal stay. The food is varied, high quality, everything is fresh , all drinks are available (juices, tea, coffee, water), many thanks to all the restaurant workers, especially the cooks, delicious! Treatment procedures are carried out on time, the wait is no more than 5 minutes, very clean, super! We are very pleased with our vacation, we are glad that our expenses and time were spent with benefit and satisfaction! The only thing she did was take my blood pressure. I have several large moles and they were injured during the procedure in which water is poured over them from the hose with great pressure. I then refused any further procedure. Nobody cared why. Nobody even started to ask me what the problem was. The massages are neither relaxing nor helpful with the problems. I could now write for a long time why. But the bottom line is that the person carrying out the work simply does the work very, very poorly. For the same price I get a physiotherapist in Germany who knows exactly what he is doing and treats me like a normal person and not like an annoying one Disturbance of his day treated. The staff in the dining room is not friendly. I took an excursion, but they didn’t give me any rations. The dining room is open for lunch until 2:00 p.m., I was in the dining room at 2:03 p.m. I wanted to take a refill, they didn’t give me anything, they said that you can take food only until 2:00 p.m., they took the food right under your nose. We rested in the sanatorium as a family - my husband and I, and two children (2 years and 4 months). We got a two-room room in the Blue House - spacious and comfortable. There were cots right away. They asked to space out the procedures so that times would not overlap and one person could be with the children. All wishes were taken into account. The sanatorium has a children's room with toys - we often hung out there). And in Karlovy Vary, probably all the playgrounds were explored. I liked the food - constantly fresh vegetables and fruits, several types of steamed side dishes, three types of meat, fish. Dessert often included ice cream and pastries. There is a large selection of teas. For breakfast I would like to specifically mention - yogurt and cottage cheese, several types of cereals. Of course, over the course of two weeks, many of the side dishes were repeated, but I didn’t get tired of them. The procedures are complex. They did a good job on my back. Children under 5 years old can enter the salt cave free of charge. The fact that the sanatorium is a little away from the tourist center is a plus for us. Quiet. Well, a bus pass is also a plus. Due to the strong temperature change during the holiday (from 32 to 18), our whole family one by one fell ill with some kind of acute respiratory viral infection, and so, when my husband had a fever, all the procedures were transferred to him and he was accommodated for another week.
