Hello! After reading negative reviews about this hotel, my wife and I decided to take a chance and were not mistaken in our expectations. Treatment, accommodation and food are 5. Of course, there is a small negative regarding the room cleaning, but for us this minus is not significant. If you want super service and for dinner or lunch shark fins, take a 5-star hotel. Everything in this hotel corresponds to 3 stars. The hotel was booked without treatment, the necessary procedures were purchased on the spot, we believe that the main procedures in this sanatorium are unique mud, a mirror (mud) pool and hydrogen sulfide swimming pool, everything else can be obtained in Russia, we also got a very good massage in the city for 12 euros for 30 minutes, I highly recommend it, you won’t find anything like this at home. The massage salon is located opposite the Magnolia Hotel on the second floor, if you don’t find it, ask at the pharmacy ( next building), the girls will tell you, they understand Russian but speak slowly. The effect of the treatment came on the third day, the pain in the joints began to noticeably recede, of course, this is all individual. The Balnea sanatoriums are beautifully located in the park. Fresh air, a place to walk. The medical building is located close to the Balnea Splendid sanatorium. The staff of the medical department is qualified and friendly. Perfect cleanliness is maintained in all rooms. Towels are changed daily, bed linen and bathrobes are changed frequently. The quality of food is very good, we were especially pleased with the river trout and carp. The waiters in the restaurant are caring and friendly. We really liked everything. The hotel is good, the food is delicious, the rooms are warm and clean, they were cleaned every day. At first I even wanted to leave when I received treatment, I was upset that there was very little dirt, what kind of treatment was this, I thought. But Veronica explained everything competently, and then the doctor confirmed that the load was heavy and no more was needed. I got 3 mud for 11 days, and a thermal pool for the rest of the days, I didn’t even bother buying more mud. If some procedures do not work, you can change them without any problems, you can buy something additional. Everyone is very polite, you can get to the doctor without any problems, you can come early for procedures, if they have time, they will accept you. The transfer is excellent. The pool is open from 6 am to 9 pm, which is very convenient. I really liked the library, where you can go and read a book, go online and print out your boarding pass, there is no librarian, everything is freely available. Thanks to the hotel administration for tea at lunch and dinner. Thanks to Veronica, she was always in touch and resolved any issue. It would be nice to place information on the website that disabled people do not have to pay the resort fee; to do this, bring a copy of the certificate with you. Excursion to Brno! Viola (I think that was the name of our guide) had a disgusting experience. We can say that out of those 4 hours that were planned, the guide was with us for less than an hour, then she simply abandoned us in a strange city. Personally, I dealt with all my needs myself. I was lost and turned to strangers for help. In the end, Viola spoke to me very rudely and in a raised voice in front of strangers. I stayed at the Balneo Splendid hotel in May 2019 + Comfortable, cozy hotel, varied and tasty food, very pleasant location in the park. The quality of procedures and strict adherence to the appointed time deserves the respect of the administration.Negatives
-There are not enough basic procedures provided for a stay at the hotel to qualify for the “comprehensive spa treatment” stated in the advertisement of the sanatorium portal. The regulations of the Splendid SPA hotel, which are guided by the doctor, and about which the hotel client is not aware, clearly indicate the vacation of the basic ones, that is important procedures. So, for a week of stay, the client is given 2 mud envelopes, 2 mineral baths and 2 massages. The remaining 18 procedures (out of a promising 24) are physiotherapy and exercise therapy. I, like many other people, had to purchase additional desired procedures, including the mineral and mud pool that was so advertised. Comparing the range of procedures at other resorts, I would like to note a slight difference in their number for the same period of stay. That is, in a week you can get 4-5 of each of the main procedures that are important in treatment and for which people flock to the resort. I think that by adding a certain number of basic, important procedures, the SPA complex will not suffer large financial losses, but will raise its rating and will not lose most of its clients over time.
