Treatment chronical bronchitis in Borjomi

Chronic bronchitis is a progressive inflammation of the bronchi, accompanied by morphological changes in the structures of the bronchial wall and peribronchial tissue. Episodes of exacerbation, as a rule, occur 2-4 times a year and are accompanied by a strong cough with purulent sputum, shortness of breath, sweating, lethargy, persistent increase in body temperature to subfebrile values and bronchial obstruction. Treatment includes antimicrobial, antifungal, bronchodilatory, immunomodulatory drugs, expectorant drugs. A prerequisite is quitting smoking, elimination of the effects of toxic factors. Severe forms of chronic bronchitis may require therapeutic bronchoscopy, bronchoalveolar lavage, inhalation, chest massage, breathing exercises, physiotherapy.
