I visited the Complex Curie resort twice: two weeks in 2014 and two weeks in 2018. In my opinion, the sanatorium is located in favorable climatic and natural conditions surrounding it, and most importantly, the presence of its own natural sources of therapeutic radon. In my review, I can note that the sanatorium has effective rehabilitation programs for various injuries and diseases that limit mobility. In our case, specifically, rehabilitation was carried out after two operations to replace the joints of both knees with my wife Tatyana. The rehabilitation program is carried out by well-trained specialists in a well-equipped treatment facility. The sanatorium also has programs that allow you to carry out general health procedures that have a positive effect on your overall health. Accommodation rooms are comfortable and in good condition. The food, in my opinion, is somewhat monotonous, but of good quality. Separately, I would like to note the efficient work of the TRANSFER service, which meets and sends those arriving for treatment, and also conducts excursions to historical and other interesting places both in the Czech Republic and in other nearby countries.Negatives
There are few disadvantages, but they exist. The radon treatment program is strictly carried out according to the conditions accepted by the sanatorium, and the number of other procedures is two or three for each type, which reduces the effectiveness of their action. It is well known that the minimum number of procedures to produce their therapeutic effect should not be less than five. It is not clear why procedures are prescribed that can be obtained at the nearest clinic at home and without having to travel several thousand kilometers for this. Request: distribute the thirty remaining procedures in such a way that they include only effective sanatorium procedures in an amount of at least five of each prescribed type.

My remarks about the rudeness and rudeness of this lady can be confirmed by all the Germans sitting at table No. 26. And, of course, it’s strange that they don’t develop leisure activities at all in Jáchymov. If you are coming by car, we advise you to book parking; there were no free spaces in February. If the weather is good, you can walk a lot in the mountains (comfortable shoes are needed). A large map of the city and the surrounding area can be obtained from the Radium Palace sanatorium or from the information desk at the other end of the city, Unfortunately, Curie doesn’t offer these, and the reception couldn’t tell us what interesting places in the area are worth visiting. There is nothing to do in the sanatorium in bad weather, there is no swimming pool for free use in the building, there is an old bike on the 5th floor (it would be nice to provide guests with a small fitness room with 4-5 exercise machines, this is also therapy), games could be given away to people: dominoes, checkers and others. In the diet, we advise you to diversify the offered vegetables, salads, and more greens. Coffee and tea are often cold. Question to Mr. V. Burya: We booked 13 nights and 39 procedures each, but we were only assigned 11 rads. baths, they explained that on the day of departure (Sat.) they do not give a bath, although on that day we were entitled to breakfast and lunch!
