The rooms lack European-quality renovation, the Internet does not always work well, perhaps there are not enough special gowns in which it is convenient to go to procedures, but the quality of cleaning in the rooms and on the territory is high. The disadvantages are partially described above. In my opinion, the cultural program is lame. It would be nice to show more or less new comedies in cinemas more often. Sometimes we organize jazz evenings, because there are so many decent jazz bands in Latvia, and, of course, the theater begins with a hanger. And if the ordered transfer is late, the administrator on duty should call the airport himself and report the delay via speakerphone, and not make the guest (especially a first-time visitor) nervous.

Very friendly attitude, high professionalism, perfect cleanliness, which is incredibly difficult, given the large number of procedures associated with the use of therapeutic mud.. Excellent work of the catering unit - clean, tasty, varied. The treatment really helped, although we stayed in the sanatorium for only a week. The place is stunningly beautiful - so many advantages are collected in one place: pine forest, sea, sandy beach, proximity to Riga and the place of stay in the country. I don’t want to write anything bad, seeing how hard the entire staff of the sanatorium is trying, but objectively: the material base is very worn out and many things require repairs (for example, doors, balconies). It would be nice to reupholster the furniture. But it is clear that this requires large material costs, Perhaps someday such an opportunity will arise.

Upon arrival, and after paying for accommodation and treatment, my husband and I were sent to a doctor to receive a prescription for procedures. The doctor prescribed general procedures, including most of the physical exercises in the fitness center, Nordic walking, cardio training and carbon baths, all other procedures that really contribute to treatment and rehabilitation were offered to us for an additional fee. It turned out that not all massage therapists at the sanatorium are professional. The room was shocking, dusty and not entirely clean, the mattresses on the beds were so old that they practically reduced to zero all the daily efforts to restore and treat a person who has problems with the spine and joints. I was shocked by the bathroom, in which it is not possible to place a shower stall and instead of a shower stall there is a curtain hanging. The food is plentiful but not tasty. At the reception they didn’t tell us that there is wi-fi on every floor and we just need to get a password at the reception, we found out about this after a week of staying. There is no kettle in the rooms, there is no place to get hot water for tea or coffee, the store where you could buy drinking water is open until three hours. It would be great if there were coolers with cold and hot water on the floors. In a word, the rooms create all the conditions so that people don’t sit still, but go out for a walk :)

There is a completely different reality here in the sanatoriums of Jurmala, an incredibly large number of procedures, doctors do not brush it off, but carefully advise and delve into the state of health. The doctor was competent, prescribed the procedures well, every day there was treatment until about lunchtime, then free time.
