The resort rehabilitation center "Jaunkemeri" is located in the area of the Kemeri National Park, in a pine forest, 35 km from Riga and 350 m from the sea. RRC "Jaunkemeri" is a multidisciplinary rehabilitation center, which in its practice combines modern rehabilitation technologies with traditional spa treatment of peat mud, hydrogen sulphide, bromine and sodium chloride mineral waters.

Combining the natural factors of the resort with the experience and knowledge of specialists all year round, without weekends RRC "Jaunkemeri" provides medical rehabilitation opportunities for patients with:
■ cardiovascular diseases (myocardial infarctions, coronary heart disease, angina pectoris, conditions after ACS and arterial stenting of the heart, heart failure, etc.)
■ diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system (after strokes, brain attacks and hemorrhages, after neurosurgical operations, patients with multiple sclerosis, various forms of polyneuropathy, after neuroinfections, etc.)
■ diseases of the musculoskeletal system (spine problems - spondylosis, protrusion and disc hernia, joint problems - osteoarthritis, arthritis, conditions after endoprosthetics of large joints)
■ diseases of the digestive tract (gastritis, gastroesophageal reflux, etc.)
■ rheumatological diseases
■ complications of diabetes mellitus (polyneuropathy)
■ overweight and underweight problems
■ successful oncological surgery
■ past traumas (spinal cord injuries, fractures, polytraumas).

According to the evaluation of the patient's general condition, an individual plan is prepared.

■ Physiotherapy - a set of physical rehabilitation measures to reduce functional disorders. Various technologies are used: individual and group exercises (therapeutic exercise in the hall, swimming pool), physiotherapy on a hydrotherapy machine, sling therapy, Nordic walking, dosed walking with SMOVEY circles, kinesiological teiping.
■ Ergotherapy - a rehabilitation technology to help people in their daily lives, to develop, restore and maintain the skills needed to perform actions that are important and meaningful to the health and well-being of the patient.
■ Balneotherapy, hydrotherapy: mineral baths (hydrogen sulphide, bromine), pearl baths, two / four chamber baths, underwater massage, whirlpool, cascade massage in the pool, underwater traction.
■ Mud treatment - mud applications, mud sulphuric bath.
■ Physical therapy - massages are included in the package price only when booking a two-bedroom or two-bedroom improved room without sharing the room (classic, whirlpool), salt therapy, aerotherapy, electroprocedures, magnetotherapy, ultrasound procedures, etc.
■ Music therapy
■ Nutrition therapy
■ Hippotherapy – medical horseback riding
■ Speech-language pathology therapy
■ Psychotherapy

At the resort rehabilitation center "Jaunkemeri" there is a high quality diagnostic and therapeutic base which allows treating a wide range of different diseases. RRC medical staff has extensive experience in the treatment and rehabilitation of people with diseases of the musculoskeletal system, cardiovascular system, urological problems. The treatment possibilities of "Jaunkemeri" allow taking children with injuries of the musculoskeletal system, pathologies of the brain, lower and upper extremities. Patients with gastrointestinal diseases are offered diet therapy - in the rehabilitation center canteen a balanced diet using environmentally friendly products (all genetically modified products are excluded). Dietologists hold lectures for patients on proper nutrition.
