We just arrived at the beginning of October, the height of golden autumn, the colors are incredible. Upon check-in, there were no rooms at the Naples hotel, and we were placed in the Star. This was our first time dealing with the website sanatoriums.com. Everything was organized superbly on their part. No problems at the airport or with getting us to the hotel, the excursion to Prague was perfectly organized. We chose the hotel for a very long time based on reviews on various sites. We booked a room in Naples and were accommodated in the Imperial. (Hvezda complex). We didn't mind. Note that the reception staff is very friendly, there is always someone who speaks Russian well. Maybe we're lucky. The room is quite large, all appliances and plumbing worked well. We asked the reception for a kettle, there were no problems. Comfortable beds and pillows, good linens, they were changed every few days. Cleaning is daily, but not perfect. I liked the location - not on the main street, not on the mountain, the descent to the colonnades and the ascent up are quite smooth, which is important for older people. There are a lot of flowers and greenery in the city. And another thing that captivates is the music. At the fountain, in the colonnades, cafes, theaters, etc. It's so nice to see people dancing and just enjoying the atmosphere. The doctors are pleasant, but, of course, they don’t consider your problems in great detail, although the range of procedures is different. The treatment rooms work very smoothly. Everything is organized clearly. We would especially like to mention our masseuse Laura, who, in our opinion, has talent and excellent hands and intuition. I was also pleased that procedures are carried out on Saturdays and Sundays. These days there is also a doctor. We arrived on Sunday and saw a doctor the same day. We also liked the food, it’s not entirely clear what exactly some vacationers are not happy with. Maybe I would like more beef, but there is always chicken in different types, there was also turkey and rabbit. For dinner, water is free in any quantity.Negatives
Unfortunately, the dressing gowns were not changed even once in three weeks. In hot weather you want to have air conditioning. One more note. We signed up for gymnastics for the back and abdomen at the Nové Lazne hotel. We were very surprised that besides us there were only two ladies from another hotel. It is clear that we do not have high sports ranks in gymnastics and had difficulty completing tasks that we can evaluate, since we played sports in our youth. The outright ridicule and unwillingness to take the audience into account were surprising, to put it mildly. But they didn’t teach us anything: the next day we were alone. The instructor asked us to leave, since our physical condition and capabilities absolutely did not fit into his idea of the level that people in the sanatorium should have. Or simply had other plans for this time. We do not recommend it if you respect yourself.Positives
We have been going to Marianske Lazne for many years for treatment and recreation. I like everything here: nature, friendly attitude, lack of language barrier. At the reception the Russian-speaking receptionist greeted me very poorly when checking into the hotel, and it was also until the departure, unfortunately. In general, the reception service is not at a high level, except for the spa reception, where Natalia K. had excellent service (I don’t remember the exact last name). She was the only one from the reception service who helped with any questions until complete resolution, and was always very friendly. In this regard, the work of the staff is indicated as good, but overall at “3” on a 5 scale and does not qualify for 4 stars, unfortunately, not everyone speaks Russian very well (not everyone understands), there is no English at all , well, there were a lot of funny things during the holiday.Positives
We rested and received treatment with our 7-year-old granddaughter and lived in the Imperial building from 03/31/2019 to 04/14/2019. I would like to note the excellent work of all the hotel staff - they were friendly, responsive, all requests and wishes were fulfilled. There was no kettle in the room, which is extremely inconvenient when staying with a child. I contacted the reception and they brought it right away. I would especially like to express my gratitude to: - the restaurant employee Ivana Makhova, whose attitude created an atmosphere of comfort and homely atmosphere, when you understand that the owners are glad to see you come to visit; - to doctor Sergei Bortnik, who prescribed effective procedures that brought a clear improvement in well-being, and also many thanks to the employees of the balneological department Yana (individual gymnastics) and Martina (paraffin) for their work and friendliness.Negatives
